The Perfect Dress

After Annie's birthday, me Annie and Johanna decided to go dress shopping. Mom is gonna meet us here after picking up Effie from the train station.and yes.i said Effie. Haymitch was being an asshole (since he was no longer sober) and decided to call Effie and ended up telling her we were in four and we were gonna have the wedding. Effie then called me later that day saying she will be in four since she had to show me something VERY VERY important which probably won't be that important. But knowing Effie, you can't say no.

After a little bit of time of thinking to myself, I finally realize its time to wake up. As I flutter my eyes I realize that Peeta is still sleeping. So I kiss him on the nose as I see those beautiful blue eyes open.

"Hey baby" he say while me and him share a passionate kiss (just like every morning)

"Goodmorning handsome" I tell him as he starts to rub my slightly noticeable belly

"And hello to you gorgeous" he says referring to the baby "I can't wait to meet you! I can't wait to have a mini you in my arms Katniss" he says now talking to me

"I really wanted a mini Peeta running around the house who is a spit image of his father" I say which makes Peeta smile..widely..

"Why are you so happy?" I say

"I'm happy because I have the most beautiful women in the world laying right next to me and carrying the baby me and her created" he says "I was grateful to have you in my life. That is like a dream. And now your giving me all I could ever ask for. Thank you baby" he says while kissing me again

I'm now crying while trying to pull out these words "you don't have to thank me. This was our decision and I can't tell you how thankful I am to have you and so grateful to be carrying our baby. I will love you forever"

"I'll love you forever and always "

"Forever and always" I say before leaning In to share a passionate kiss

After taking a shower Peeta and I get dressed while I dry my hair. While I do this, I realize how lucky I really am. I have Peeta and I can't wait to have our baby

I suddenly feel two protective arms wrap around my waist as Peeta starts to plant kissed on my cheek leading down to my collar bone which makes me moan.i have to stop this cause I gotta go meet Annie downstairs at 10:50 it's 10:45 I should go down now since Annie is a very time consisting girl

"Peeta not now I gotta go get my dress and you have to get your tuxedo with Finnick and Haymitch " I say as nicely as I can so he doesn't feel hurt

"Oh okay.im sorry Katniss please forgive me I just.. Got caught up in the moment.. I love you"

I can't believe how nice Peeta is. It would never be his fault. I love him too much to ever be mad at him.

"I love you too Katniss but I'm still sorry"

"Wha- Did I say that outloud!"

"Yea u did" he says while he giggles

"Damnit"

"It's okay baby common lets go downstairs"

"Alright let's go" I say as Peeta then plants a kiss on my forehead as we head downstairs

"Are you ready?!!! Annie practically screams to me

"Yea Ann common we gotta go get my mom" I say

"Really brainless"Johanna says to me sarcastically

"Yes common lets gooo" Annie says as we all says goodbye to the boys

When we arrive at the dress shop called ' a Dress For You', our helper to finding my perfect dress is named Suzanne. She looks so familiar. Then I finally realize she has Annie's eye and hair color. Then I finally remember. Annie's mom works here.

Once Annie introduces her mother properly, we start looking for dresses.

"So sweety, what kind of dress are you looking for?" Suzanne asks me

"Something simple but something that will make Peeta happy"

"Okay so how about I give you a selection of dresses and you can find which kind of style you like the most"

After about ten minutes, Suzanne walks into my room with more than ten dresses in each of her hands. I can already tell all of them are far from gorgeous but there is one that sticks out the most. Before I can say anything, Effie is practically running in handing me an envelope and a dress in a box.

"Here you go darling. I'm sorry I was so late but when I went to Annie's house, Finnick told me you came here so I gave Peeta his behalf of this and....well you will see. Open the envelope then the box. Let me just tell you the boy was in tears when he opened his box" Effie says to me

"Okay" is all I say before opening the envelope which consists of a letter.

Dear Katniss,
If you are reading this, it probably means I have died and you have found the your feelings for Peeta. Haha, I've known it ever since I saw both of you at the Tribute Parade. Every time you looked at him and he looked at you, you can see the fait between you two will lead to a marriage.an actual marrage. Now I don't want to write you a novel, but I just wanted to say I'm happy for you and Peeta and I wanted to say I will be looking down on you when you walk down that isle. Forget the past and start over with Peeta. Have a happily life filled with love and joy

By now, I'm crying. I can't control it. The happiness fills me knowing that Cinna knew me and Peeta were meant to be this whole time and that he had fait after the war.
Without anyone hearing, I whisper to myself "thank you" to Cinna.

As I open the box, I am presented a beautiful white almost princess like gown which is very simple, plain, and very me. I'm happy I will be walking down the isle in this dress knowing how much this dress means to me.
