Peeta and Katniss

Is it time?

"Peeta wake up I think there is something wrong" I say as I gasp up with immediate pains in my lower abdomen

he shoots up as if the bed was on fire" what is it the baby? do we need to go to the hospital?" he says sounding so worried

"I don't know. I think." I say as he helps me out of bed as a gush of water releases from my lower area.
"Peeta I think-"
"Katniss you are two weeks early. We have to get you to a hospital."he says as he carries me out the door as I hear his heart beating rapidly

"what if there's something wrong Peeta" I say crying my eyes out

"nothing's going to be wrong. Maybe she is ready. I mean, she is a big baby" he says while he holds my hand while driving

"don't worry, everything will be okay." he assures me as he walks me into the hospital.

"hi I think my wife is in labour" Peeta says nervously.

"Okay we will get you a room." the nurse says

"Peeta I'm scared" I tell him as a shooting pain hits me as I squeeze his hand.

he looks scared himself but ofcourse, he doesn't show it. he looks me straight into his beautiful eyes and reassures me that it will all be worth it in the end.

About 4 hours later,  I am in my bed getting contractions every other minute. Peeta is calling everyone that we want to be here when she arrives when Dr. Bell has confirmed I am 8 cm.

Peeta is here to support me through all the pain I'm going through right now. I decided not to have an epidural and to have her naturally.

"Peeta. it's been nearly 5 hours and it hurts so bad" I tell him crying because of the pain

"I know. I know." he says kissing my forehead constantly reassuring me it will all be worth it in the end.

Peetas POV

Katniss has been in labour for about 6 hours and I can't do anything but reassure her everything will be okay and that truly breaks my heart to see her in pain and there is noting I can do to stop the pain. but on top of all of this, I can't wait to meet my little princess and I know Katniss can't wait either. I suddenly stop my thoughts when Dr bell says those words

"okay Katniss. you are fully dilated. time to push!" Dr bell says as I see Katniss ready to get her out

"Katniss. everything will be alright I say as she squeezes my hand as they prepare Katniss for delivery.

Katniss POV

it hurts so bad. Peeta is the only one keeping me through it. well Peeta and her.

I am so uncomfortable right now as Peeta pushes  one of my legs to me and a nurse does the other. Dr Bell is at the end of me ready for me to start pushing

"Okay Katniss on the count of three Peeta is going to count down from ten and you will push all the way down to one okay?"

I nod my head in response as I push as hard as I can feeling the pain I can't even explained I hear Peeta count down while kissing my forehead
"AGHHH" I scream in pain as I feel the discomfort of my lower abdomen tearing apart.

(45 minutes later)

"Push!" the doctor says as I put my head on the pillow crying in pain "Peeta Peeta I can't do it no more I whine to my husband whose hand I've probably broken by how hard I squeezed his hand. "I don't want to do this anymore" I whine to him crying out all my pain
"it's okay baby only a few more pushes and then she will be with us" Peeta tells me as I nod ready to push again

"okay Katniss are you ready?" doctor bell tells me as I hear Peeta count down which is my cew to push

the pain is unbearable.

"the head is crowning Katniss!push! push!" Dr bell says as I see Peeta turn his head to my lower abdomen as the baby makes her way out

"Katniss she is coming push one more time baby!" Peeta says as he says  while I am in the most pain as possible. as I feel a lift taken off of me as I hear a scream/cry which is music to my ears

"Oh my god Katniss she's beautiful" Peeta says as he cries in tears of joy. Peeta then cuts the umbilical cord as she is placed on me.

"she's beautiful" I say as I start to cry as I see my daughter for the first time

she is quickly taken away from me to go get cleaned up as Peeta looks me in the eyes "we did it. she's here. I'm so proud of you baby" he tells me as I kiss him passionately.

"go with her she needs you" as I tell him to go get her

about 5 minutes later, Peeta walks over to me holding our beautiful baby girl as he places her right on top of me as I hold her.

"She looks just like you Katniss" Peeta says as he bawls seeing our beautiful daughter who has the same color hair as I do

It wasn't until she first opened her eyes. the exact eyes I've fallen for since I was 16. yes. our beautiful daughter has those ocean blue eyes she gets from her father. She is so beautiful and her name fits her perfect

"welcome to the world Liliana Rose" I say as Peeta kisses my forehead than hers

SO I DECIDED TO GO WITH LILIANA INSTEAD OF LILY BUT LILY WILL BE WHAT THEY CALL HER LATER ON IN THE STORY! LILY ROSE HAD WON IN THE VOTES AND I PERSONALLY LOVE THAT NAME!
