"You know Dutch?" Another brunette asks.

"Yes," I answer. "Tell them I am from there."

"We are from the Netherlands so Dutch is our first language," Sara explains. I can tell this is shocking information by the looks on their faces as they process the information.

"Um, London, you're phone's been blowing up, Danielle, she's been trying to reach you," This time it was a younger-looking girl with dark brown hair and darker skin. I saw a scar on her forehead and realized it was Mal.

"Mal?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm Mal. Do you know Danielle? She's trying to reach you."

"It's fine if you don't remember," Sara tells me in English. She's trying to help me with it but it's not working.

"No."

"Alright, I'll tell her you're busy," Mal goes back to where she was and leans against the wall.

"Hey London, how's your head?" Two blondes this time. I couldn't remember their names, but I remembered they caused trouble often.

"It's fine," I answer tiredly.

"You need more sleep. Go to sleep now ok? " Sara says. "Alex, she needs sleep for now."

"Alright girls, we can come back later let's let London rest for now," Alex, I'm assuming, says. They all leave and I fall back against my pillows.

"How is your head? "

"It hurts," I complain.

"More or less than before? I can talk to the doctors about increasing medication."

"It hasn't changed."

"Okay, I'll speak with the doctor."

"Cool."  With that, I closed my eyes and welcomed sleep.

Mal's POV

I held London's phone trying to figure out a good response. Her teammates at Arsenal were concerned, some because apparently she hasn't answered since camp started and some because it's been a day. Danielle's most recent text was a threat to send Lisa to the hotel to get an answer. I started typing out a response then deleted it for the fifth time.

"What are you doing Mal?" Christen asks.

"Well, London is notoriously bad at responding to texts, and she is recovering from surgery so I have to text Danielle and tell her a convincing lie about why she hasn't been answering."

"She doesn't know?"

"Nope. I don't think anyone but us knows."

"We play in two days, then we return to club. It won't be a secret for much longer," Lindsey says.

"Jill will handle it," Alex says. I nod and pretend to be Daan and say she is busy.

"She replied in Dutch. Someone pull up a translator!" I yell. Rose sits next to me and types Danielle's response into Google Translate.

" 'Okay, she said how have you been busy for a day and a half? You not sleeping?' Wait, that's supposed to be are you not sleeping," Rose reads.

"So say there have been meetings and team bonding and its been busy," Kelley says. Rose types it into the translator then I type the message out to Danielle.

Danielle

Who is this? It surely isn't London because that sentence was not correct

"Don't respond," Sonnett says. I nod and put the device away.

10:30 a.m.

London's POV

"Sara?"

"Right here Elsje," She says grabbing my hand.

"Scotland right?"

"Yeah, we're in Scotland."

"For football. With Americans."

"Yeah, you're doing good!"

"I fell, hit a table..." I trail off. The accident was slowly coming back to me as I spoke with Sara.

"Do you remember anything else?" Sara asks.

"Um, Kelley was here."

"She was. You did good Elsje. Just take it easy for now."

"That beeping makes me want to throw something," I respond.

"Don't throw anything."

"Water! I fell on water!" I suddenly remember.

"Yes! Good job!"

"We were pranking Kelley!"

"Did it work?"

"Yep."

"Do you remember English?"

"Not a ton."

"That's alright, can you tell me some of the names of the girls that were in here?"

"Kelley, Mal, girls with blonde hair? Emily? Lindsey?"

"Yes that's good Elsje!"

The doctor knocked on the door and walked in with another person. They didn't have scrubs on so I guess they are not a doctor.

"Hello Anika, this is Emma, she is the translator!" The doctor says.

"Hi, may I ask how you know my first name?" I ask.

"When your cousin arrived she was able to provide identification with your real name on it."

"Right."

"How much longer does she have to be in the hospital?" Sara asks.

"We are going to keep her here for at least one more night just to ensure her head injury does not progress into something worse."

After the doctor leaves three girls walk in. One of them is Mal, the other two have brown hair though one is paler than the other.

"Hey London, it's Andi, we played together in D.C.." Right it's Andi and Rose.

"Hi Andi, Rose, Mal."

"Good Elsje," Sara whispers.

"How are you doing?" Mal asks.

"Fine. I am here for couple days."

"That's not too bad!" Rose smiles.

"Not too bad," I agree.

"Danielle was messaging you."

"At Arsenal?" I ask.

"Yeah, you're roommates Elsje," Sara tells me.

"We tried just telling her you're busy but the translator we used wasn't accurate," Mal says.

"It's fine. She's used to me ignoring her," I say.

"London," Rose laughs.

"I'm better than I was!"

So I had surgery the 13 so I'm still like recovering. It was just jaw surgery but I wanted to get this out since I'm not doing much anyway. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Sorry it is shorter than it normally is.
