"It's weed."
"It's a lot of dead weed. This explains a lot," Dina said.
There were shelves upon shelves that contained the plant. Ellie couldn't help but wonder how Eugene was able to get a hold of this much.
"Maria would have killed him if she knew about this place. This must have taken forever to get," Ellie said.
"He should have told me about this. I could have helped."
They scoured Eugene's happy place, trying to get a small glimpse of the guy they thought they knew. Ellie couldn't help but wish that she had gotten to know him a little more.
"Hey. He's got one of those videotape things."
Ellie looked at the titles these tapes had and put two and two together.
"Dong of the Wolf?"
"Are these..."
"It's porn, Ellie."
"Interesting taste, Eugene."
They continued looking through the place. Ellie's eyes then went to a jar. She picked it up and saw that there was a few rolled up joints inside.
"Check this out, Dina."
"Oh. There we go."
"You think it's still good?"
"Does weed go bad?"
"Let's find out, shall we?"
Ellie started to try twisting the lid. It wasn't budging.
"You having a hard time?"
"No, I got it."
It was hard to get open.
"Give it here," Dina said, taking it away from Ellie.
"Oh yeah, like you're going to get it."
She took off her jacket as she watched Dina try to open that stubborn jar.
"I told you," Ellie said.
"Fuck it."
Dina threw the jar and watched it shatter.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"I got it open, didn't I?"
Ellie went over and picked up the joint that was closest to her. Wiping any excess glass off, she ran it under her nose.
"Smells good," she said handing it to Dina.
Putting it in her mouth, Dina took out her lighter.
"I mean...We're gonna be stuck here a while, right?"
There was a couch nearby that she sat on. Ellie joined her.
