He was a different kind of Robin.
He didn't tweet but boy did he fly.
He soared through many unknowns.
Making us wonder, where did this man ever come from ?He made us laugh till we couldn't breathe.
And made us weep with cold truth.
But strangely we took him for granted.
He's just a clown, he can only be funny, right ?But underneath those deep blue eyes hid something much larger.
Something we never dared to think of.
Something that in the end, would only break our hearts.
Our clown was crying. And yet the only cure is laughter so they say ?
But he was the clown.
So where did the clown go when he felt sad ?
Did he hide it by playing some deep roles. Were his roles the only way to show how he really felt ?
Was he really the sad wise man behind Sean Maguire ?
Was he really the divorced man behind Daniel Hillard ?
Was he just like the man 'Patch Adams' who believed that laughter cured sick minds ?
Or was he just the blank faced man called Sy who lived in his loneliness.Who knows, maybe he was just acting.
He was the gentle giant who's generosity is beyond compare.
He was so busy making us happy that he forgot about himself.
And under that quick wit, we believed he was fine too.He gave me hope and laughter.
He was the teacher behind John Keating who made me fall in love with poetry.
He was the loving father behind Daniel Hillard who made me feel unrequited love.
He made me feel many things indeed.God bless the man.
Because I don't think he truly understood how amazing he really was.
But don't worry Robin, we're proving with your legacy that you were more than just a clown. So sleep well my friend, the curtain has fallen down.
The applause is ever lasting so there's no need for another bow.
Your work here is done and you gave us what we needed.
So go in peace our lovely Mork, you are free from life's tribulations.Although we are still weeping on the inside.
Don't worry, we are still laughing on the outside.
Just like you.

Yes this is about the lovely Robin Williams, and if you understood my sad play on words..I applaud you because it hurt to write those words as well. It's a sad truth that we didn't realise the pain he was in and I know many of us feel mournful because we wish we could've helped him. But the way I see it, is that he is now in a better off place. He's in the sky, he doesn't have to endure the pain anymore. If he was still here, we may have never found out. And his Parkinson's disease would've just gotten worse and the man that was once so energetic wouldn't have been able to move at all. And I think it would kill us to see him that way, but I think it would've killed him the most. Because the laughter wouldn't exist anymore.
It's a shame how some things end but we have so many reminders and beautiful memories that will keep his legacy alive for many years to come. Oh how lucky we were to have such a bright star, if only we knew it back then.
Sincerely Yours.
Liliana.
