I laid by his side, wrapped in a loving embrace.
We stared up at the sky with a tender gaze.
'Do you think the stars ever get intimidated by the moon ?'
I pondered soulfully to his wise poetic mind.Of course not, He replied.
'The moon is just a spotlight..
Guiding souls closer together for when they're apart'He stared into my eyes as if I had the stars in them.
'So remember that whenever I'm away, just look up at moon..
And sure enough, I'll be looking right up at it too'So I stared up at the moon without question.
Knowing that one day we'll be reunited.
Our souls returning to each other's mate.
Through a peaceful milky ray of silent light.

Sincerely Yours,
