"Hey... are you alright?"

Chocho stared at her new found friend worriedly. After Boruto left, Sarada seemed terrified to the core that it left her speechless and still, much like a statue.

What Chocho didn't know was that it wasn't the terror that rendered her motionless. It's because Sarada didn't expect that Boruto would immediately leave just like that. He didn't even yell, or worse threaten her.

Heck, he didn't even ask for any type of compensation for his ruined shirt!

After what seemed like forever, she released a breath she didn't notice she's holding.

He really got angry, that's for sure. Sarada was bracing herself for an impending tantrum... but it never happened.

And here she was, thinking about the things she would say to him in order to defend herself incase he did happen to throw a tantrum.

Was that it? He's much more forgiving than what I initially thought.

"What did I miss?" A bluish-white haired boy suddenly chimed, breaking her thoughts and getting everyone's attention.

He had pale skin and yellow-colored eyes. A sincere smile was plastered on his face. Sarada does not know if the boy can't read the tense atmosphere around them or is just indifferent about it.

Chocho groaned loudly before narrowing her eyes at the new comer, "You're late for the show, Mitsuki..."

"What happened? I left to grab my card because I forgot it at the last store we were in... and now that I'm back, you're all acting like it's the end of the world."

"Well it is... for a certain someone," Iwabe mumbled as his eyes automatically went to Sarada.

Shikadai, upon hearing him, was quick to jab his side to silence him.

"Ouch!" Iwabe exclaimed while caressing his pained ribs.

Seeing how everyone is still a bit taken aback, Shikadai grabbed this opportunity to approach the blackette who's features screams familiarity.

He squinted his eyes at the new girl, hoping that by doing so... he could remember just why she looked so familiar. He'd been racking his brain but got no answers. So in the end, he decided to just straight up ask the girl who pissed off his best friend. He mentally noted to thank her for that after he's done with his interrogation.

"Have... I seen you before?" He asked straightforwardly, taking the black haired girl by surprise. "You look oddly familiar. I just can't put my finger on it..."

Upon closer inspection, Shikadai blantantly studied her features. He knows what he's doing is considered rude but his conciousness will not rest until he's found out who she is.

Sarada felt a surge of panic bubbling inside of her. Is she done for? Will this boy figure out her true identity? What would she do if he did?!

After a few seconds she saw the spiky haired boy's expression change into that of recognition.

Shit! I've been found!

"You're-" Shikadai was about to reveal her secret but she immediately speak to cut him off.

"Haruno! Haruno Sarada..." She exclaimed rather loudly. "T-that's my name."

Both Shikadai and Inojin were sporting a bewildered look, hearing the Uchiha heiress introduce herself using her mother's last name. The first one to recover from the confusion was Shikadai.

So that's the deal here... she's hiding her identity, huh?

"My apologies, I must have mistaken you for another person." Shikadai smiled knowingly. "The name's Shikadai... Shikadai Nara."
