Later that day after lunch was over, they all returned to class. Inojin and Chocho were animatedly talking to each other as the blackette kept silent.
A lot of things were going on in her mind to begin with and Boruto just have to add up among the list of things that's keeping her mind occupied.
While walking along the hall, Sarada felt like her energy's been drained from all the emotional distress from earlier.
She was always at high alert during the previous classes since she's expecting the worst case scenario... and that is to anticipate Boruto's up to no good schemes.
This was her first day in their class and she had already gain a hater. In the form of none other than the young lord, Boruto Uzumaki.
Sarada sighed in exasperation, not understanding the unjust hate Boruto has towards her.
If he hates me then I hate him too! No! I hate him more than he hates me!
When they entered the classroom, Sumire was already there along with Namida and Wasabi. A kind smile spread on Sumire's lips as Wasabi joked about something. The three of them laughed but Sarada quickly saw a flicker of emotion in the purple haired girl's eyes.
She looked sad for a second but the moment Sarada blinked, the sadness she saw from the girl's eyes was no longer there. It could be that her eyes were deceiving her so she payed it no mind as she sat on her chair.
While waiting for class to start, Sarada's mind went back to the scene when Sumire ran after Boruto the moment he walked out of the room.
Just how close are they for Sumire to follow him? Shikadai didn't even think of stopping Sumire from running after Boruto. He just let her as if it's a normal thing.
Are they perhaps... dating? If that's true, then I pity Sumire for having to put up with Boruto's asshole attitude.
Sarada sighed before subtly shaking her head to clear off her thoughts.
Turning his head, Inojin peered over his shoulder only to see a calm looking Sarada with a book in her hand. This eased the boy's worries seeing how she seemed over about what happened between her and Boruto.
Guess she's fine... that's good.
He thought before starting a conversation with Denki regarding the new game they bought yesterday.
Vacant chairs started to get filled one by one until there were only two chairs left, the other one being Boruto's.
Weird... even though Boruto had changed, he never skipped classes or slacked off. Where could he be?
Shikadai thought, quite shock that the blonde was nowhere to be found.
Impossible as it seems, Boruto is a genius kid who prides himself with his list of academic achievements. A lot of people have been telling Shikadai that he too has a bright mind just like his Father and maybe that's one of the reasons why he got along with Boruto.
If Boruto was the top one student of their batch, Shikadai was second.
One time, he remembered when Boruto told him that he could easily snatch the top one spot from him if he willed himself to do so. But Shikadai only mentioned how it would be such a drag to devote his time studying.
To be honest, he would rather sleep than read thick books at the library during his free time.
Going back, he crossed his arms as he thought of all the possible places Boruto could've gone to. However, his thoughts were broken when the door open revealing their teacher for today's subject.
