Sarada spent the remaining days of the long week vacation with her parents.

They went to a villa they own to sight see and ate at classy restaurants every chance they get.

She laughed and smiled but her mind kept wandering back to that day at the beach.

How Sumire held Boruto's hand so causally in front of them and how the blond seem to ignore her presence for the rest of the day, thus her plan of confronting him about his no show at the restaurant they owned and the plan of finally telling him her true identity all went down the drain.

Sarada looked from behind the car as she saw her parents' figure get smaller each second. It was finally time to return to Konoha. She can't believe how fast time flies, her week long vacation seem to be over in just a blink of an eye.

Just like when she first entered the academy, Aoda drove inside the huge gates and parked just right outside the building where the academy's receiving area was located.

Sighing, Sarada stepped out of the car with her luggage before muttering a quick thank you to the old man who simply gave her a warm smile.

Even though Aoda wanted to assist her with carrying her belongings, he simply can't step out of the car since there's a chance that he'll be recognized as somebody who is working for the Uchiha clan.

Having been the head butler for a few generations, it wouldn't be surprising if people would instantly recognize his face just from having stood beside a number of Uchiha family members during parties, gatherings, and meetings.

And because Sarada is keeping her identity from everyone, he cannot just expose himself like that. Because above everything, Sarada's safety and Sasuke's words are absolute.

It was a tiring day that the instant Sarada closed the door of her dorm room, she sluggishly plopped over her mattress.

A deep sigh escaping her lips in content. Sleepily, she began removing her shoes before crawling at the center and hugging a fluffy pillow against her chest.

Closing her eyes, a peaceful slumber took over her consciousness and it was the most sleep she's had for the past days.

The next day, Sarada felt sluggish for some reason. As unusual as it may be, she doesn't feel like going to class today. Could it be because of that argument she had with Boruto?

She really wanted to talk to him but judging by the way he got mad at her that day, she wondered if he would even listen to her.

Sighing, Sarada tightly closed her eyes. No! She wouldn't let the idea of having to see Boruto stop her from going to class.

So without another thought, Sarada began doing her morning routine before walking out of the dorms just to see a smiling Sumire talking to a stoic looking Boruto.

"Is it just me, or are those two closer than before?"

Jolting in shock, Sarada whipped her head towards Chocho who nonchalantly stood beside her. It was still early in the morning, but she was already munching on her favorite potato chips.

Sarada would've reprimand her, saying she shouldn't eat junk foods so early in the morning, if only she wasn't so distracted right now at the sight she was seeing.

An aching feeling started creeping up to her chest as she watched the two walked farther and farther until she can't see their backs anymore.

"Well, they are friends right?" Sarada mumbled quietly as she walked to their class for the first period.

She felt Chocho's presence following her from behind, catching up so they were now walking side by side.

"Hmm, but don't you think something's weird? Just like that time at the beach..." Chocho thought out loud, lips jutting out in a pout.
