Sarada turned and twisted, her slim legs getting tangled by her sheets as she sighed for the millionth time.
The alarm clock on her bedside table showed her how late it already was which made her sigh.
"Just why! Why did he do that?!" She asked to herself with a grunt before releasing a scream that got muffled by her pillow.
It's been hours but her mind can't seem to forget the vivid image of Boruto, holding her gaze intensely as his tongue made contact with her chocolate coated fingers.
And to think that she let him do that and he even kissed her on the side of her lips made it all the more embarrassing!
What's worst is that because she was beyond mortified, surprised, and flustered, she temporarily lost the ability to think rationally and practically ran away from him!
She closed her eyes shut, remembering the way Boruto called her name while simultaneously letting out a hearty laugh seeing her face so red and flustered.
"Where are you going?! Should you really run away from me after that kiss we shared?" Sarada covered her ears as Boruto's teasing voice resonated throughout the quiet and isolated forest.
"You do know that we'll still see each other later at dinner right? And tomorrow during class..." He added with a chuckle.
"Stop teasing me! Ugh, you really are annoying! I hate you so much!" Sarada yelled in embarrasment, slightly halting in her steps to look over her shoulder.
Boruto smirked.
Sarada blushed.
"That's my line, dattebasa! Also... just be honest and say you really like me!"
Was the last thing she heard from him before she left that damned secret place of his.
Thank goodness he didn't follow after her because she can't imagine how she would react after what just happened! She even skipped on dinner just so she could avoid being teased by him again! Even for a short amount of time before tomorrow arrives.
"Sarada!"
The blackette woke up from her trance only to be welcomed by Chocho's raised brow partnered with the evident suspecting look in her eyes.
She saw Wasabi narrowing her eyes but her lips were tugging up slightly. Namida looked curious while Sumire on the other hand, was eyeing her with a hint of question in her features.
"Oh... sorry," Sarada apologized shyly as she slowly lowered her book over the table. "We're you asking me something?"
"Girl, you've been zoning out for the past hour and I haven't seen you turn a single page for ten minutes..." Chocho squinted before pointing towards the dark circles under Sarada's eyes. "Didn't sleep well?"
"Hmm... only slept for two hours," she murmured tiredly before shoving her face over her arms that was resting on her table.
"Ohh, that's too bad. I hope you didn't forget to study for that long quiz later." Wasabi said.
Sarada moaned softly, her head already pounding at the reminder. It totally slipped her mind!
"I'm praying my stocked knowledge would be enough." She sighed deeply.
"Or better yet, pray that Mugino-sensei is absent and would not be teaching for today." Chocho chuckled.
"Which has a snowball's chance in hell from happening if I do say so myself," Namida said, already shattering the small hope burning in their eyes as she let out a bell-like giggle.
