"Damn it!" Boruto hissed as he fisted his hands for the nth time that day in an attempt to maybe slip his hands off the metal handcuff.
He was sure there's a red patch on his wrist now. Skin getting raw and sensitive from how long he's been trying to think of a way to free himself.
"Argh!" Frustrated and hands already aching, he leaned back on the concrete wall and huffed. "How are we gonna get out of here? Those bastards also took our phones!"
"They probably smashed it to pieces as well." Kawaki supplied. Sharp eyes wandering the dimly lit area they're in, devising a plan for them to escape although he hasn't come up with any yet.
"Right, they probably know that Dad can easily hire people to track our location using our phones."
Of course, if Code and his so called Master don't want to get their asses caught and thrown into prison, they for sure took measures so they can't be found that easily. And what better way to do that than getting rid of their phones.
"Once we get out of here, I'll make sure they all rot behind bars!" Boruto cursed, "I know Dad and ojiisan will make sure of that too."
"Well, do you have any idea how to get us out?" Kawaki asked hopefully, he's been racking his brain for any kind of escape plan but he can't seem to think of any.
They're hands are cuffed tightly. The cells they're in are also locked! And the metal gate leading outside this dark and poorly ventilated room is shut closed. He swore he heard Code locking the door with something heavy on the outside. For all he knows, Code probably used a metal bar to secure the door.
And there are no windows too! Aside from the small opening on top of the walls that are barricaded with metal grills. Too small, Kawaki assumed they can only fit their hands. So that's no use too.
The only chance they possibly have is when someone opens the door and let them out of their cells. Which he's sure will happen sooner or later.
Specially after Garo told Code that their master is about to arrive.
Oh, Kawaki is a hundred percent certain that man is gonna want to see him the moment he arrives.
And the mere thought of seeing that face...
The face of the monster- the abuser- who's been haunting him even in his dreams is already making him want to throw up.
His stomach was twisting into knots due to anxiety. He can't.
He can't go back to that life!
He'd rather die than experience that hell again!
"Believe it or not, I actually don't have any idea how to get us out." Boruto confessed, blue eyes roaming around the dimly lit room for any opening or chances of escape. "And this stupid handcuffs are so tight! I don't think we can even break these just by using brute force..."
"That's true..." Kawaki murmured, also feeling the tightness of the cold metal on his wrists.
Just when he's about to crack a sick joke and suggest to amputate their hands, something shiny glinted outside his cell, just a few inches away.
"That bastard, Code..." Kawaki chuckled humorlessly, a triumphant smirk now slowly creeping on his lips.
"Guess he's not that smart after all." He added, his eyes trained on the small key.
Sasuke tapped his fingers against the wooden table impatiently. They've been trying to track down the boys' location but it was harder than they thought.
Their first move was to locate them using their phones' gps but it was no use as they weren't able to trace anything. Sasuke believes the kidnappers destroyed the boys' phones, probably knowing that keeping it will easily give away where they were keeping them.
