Approaches and Sorrows

-Eve had invited Lena, Kara, Alex and Sam to have dinner, it was a rainy cold in a Tuesday dark night, they have had wine and grilled chicken with salad, they were all having fun until Eve received that call, it was Lucy, Eve notice which was weird the brunette never called this late at night, it was at least 11 pm of a Tuesdays night.

But it didn't matter, she excuse herself and answered the call.

The short blonde got worried when she first heard Lucy's erratic breathing. Something was wrong Eve was sure if that.

When she heard those words that came out from Lucille's mouth, the blonde got dizzy and was sure that her face got pale when she saw her friends watching her with worry.

- "Lucy? Whose death?.... Okay, Lucy I need you to breathe. Where are you?" Eve was trying to keep calm for Lucy, the poor kid was already losing control.

"He killed her! It's my foult, I shouldn't have left Sophie alone! She's not breathing Eve... I don't know what to do, I'm at Tom's. Everything hurts... I'm sorry I called you but I'm alone and I can't even stand." Eve could hear Lucy  hyperventilating.

"Lucy? Please can you breath for me, inhale through your nose and exhale through you mouth for me, okay? Luce, baby what do you mean you can't stand up?" Eve was freaking out herself.

The other line went silence...

- "Okay, I'm on my way. I want you to unlocked the door. Do you want to stay on the phone? No, that's fine. I'll see you, you're okay hun, just deep breaths I'll be there in a minute!" Eve quickly hung up the phone and stand up from her seat.

Everyone in the dining room was watching her, Eve was aware of it but honestly she didn't care a little. Her priority right now was Lucy and her safety. The short blonde woman was getting really anxious.

-"So-sorry girls, I have to go... There was an emergency. You can stay if  you want" Eve was rambling now while taking get coat. Her hands where shaking and her face every time more paler.

"Eve, is everything okay? Do yo need help or something?" Her boss and friend talked, everything was in death silence, Lena's voice was the only heard.

Eve run a hand through her hair "I'm not sure, but I have to go. Fuck! Don't have my car this in the workshop, damn it, I need to go somehow" The other four woman could see tears welling up in the short woman eyes, while they could hear her whispering to herself  "She's death and Lucy in danger. Fuck fuck fuck".

What the hell was happening.

-"We will take you... Alex brought her car, she can drive" Kara stated, Alex nodded and stood up, Lena did the same.

"Okay... Okay, thank you really thank you. I'll tell you the direction" Eve responded while trembling. They might ask Eve later what was happening in the car but right now it wasn't the best idea.

Right now they were all in Alex's car, once again they were all in silence, Eve was the only one talking because she was giving the directions to Alex. It was a just 30 minutes road trip, but for the short blonde woman it was eternal. Lena have never seeing Eve like this and they have work together for about 10 years.

Finally they had arrived, all the woman were surprised from where they where. They were basically in the middle of nowhere, there was a house but it was kind of destroyed. The windows were broken and there were grafittis on the walls, it looked abandoned to be honest.

Before any of them could open their mouth, Eve was already stepping out of the car and running to the ruined house. They saw her opening the house door and entering to the little house from the car before they stepped out too and make their way to the same place as their short friend.
