- Alex didn't know what was wrong with her mom, since yesterday when  they picked her up she had been behaving awkwardly. At first the redhead thought that the matriarch was tired from the flight but they had already rested and eaten, her mother should already be fine.

Kara had noticed too, she had asked Alex if she knew what was going on with the oldest Danvers, the Agent told her that maybe Eliza was just tired even if both of them knew that it wasn't truth. Their mother didn't look tired, she looked nervous and maybe guilty... But why? She hasn't done anything wrong.

It was Friday in the morning, they were on their way to the DEO. Eliza hasn't stop fidgeting on her seat since they got on the car, her eyes were kind of glassy and her hands haven't stop shaking.

When that arrived to the agency the Danvers matriarch started turning paler and paler. This weirded out Alex who was by her side who frown at her, Eliza just decided to ignore her and get out to the car. The sisters stepped out of the car and started following Eliza's steps.

When all of them entered to the building before one of the sisters could speak, the oldest Danvers started looking around the place until her eyes landed on Hank. The alien was staring at Eliza too, Kara passed her gaze from one to the other while frowning.

In a heartbeat Eliza and Hank had left the room together, this strangers the sisters even more. They tried not to give it importance and continued with their work. It was hard to focus on what they were doing. Alex was worried about them, hank have been behaving distant the last few days too but she would do her best, the redhead had decided that today she was going to confront them.

- Eve was worried, Lucy had refused to eat for the 6th time in the day and it was almost noon. The brunette hadn't eaten dinner yesterday and she didn't have breakfast today. The blonde suspected that it was because Lucy had vomited after lunch yesterday and she didn't want to repeat that.

The doctors had even threatened her by telling her that they were going to intubate her if she didn't eat, Lucy didn't care about having a tube shoved on her nose. The physiologist had come again to try and convince the teen to talk or eat.

Eve had tried too, the doctors told her to try and coax the young brunette. The blonde tried for a few minutes until Lucy started having a meltdown, that when Eve felt bad for pressuring the girl to the point of such breakdown, Eve suspected it was the result of exhaustion and previous events.

Right now they were watching DuckTales, that usually cheerd the girl up, it wasn't working but at least Lucy was falling asleep. Lena had called to ask her how was she and Eve broke down too, she didn't tell her boss everything because that was Lucille's privacy but she did had told her about Lucy's infection and injuries.

Kindly, the green-eyed woman had offered to bring her some clothes so now Eve was waiting for her. The blonde was sure she looked like a mess, she hasn't shower nor sleep in two days. Lucy had told her to go home but Eve had refused, she didn't want to leave the brunette all alone.

They were going home tomorrow or the Saturday, Lucy was already sick of being in the hospital. Of the little that the teenager had talked about was that she was worried about school, she didn't like the fact that she was missing classes.

Now that Lucille was asleep, Eve just sat by her side looking at the teen. It was nice looking at her so calm. 15 minutes later, Eve heard a knock on the door, the blonde raised her head and saw that Lena was there, Eve gave her a small smile before standing up and walking to Lena.

-"Hey, how are you?" Lena asked her softly, taking in the state her friend was.

"I don't know... I don't like seeing Lucy in this state, I've known her for so long but I have never seen her so defeated. The doctors said that she's severely underweight and an infection" the blonde said while rubbing her face.
