Trigger Warning: Mentions of abuse

- Alex was alone currently alone on her apartment, sitting on the floor on front of a Table on which the folder that her blonde friend had given her rested. By the way Eve had acted, the agent didn't think there was something good on it... Maybe it was about Lucy.

The redhead stood up and walked to the kitchen where she took out a glass and poured herself a glass of wine. The last days had been extremely hard, the DEO had finally defeated Reing who apparently was Sam just the last week and she had bearly slept.  Then she found out who her daughter was and started that gave her anxiety, Alex really wanted to sleep but she needed to read the information on the folder, specially if it was about Lucy.

Plus she needed to tell Kelly too. They had barely spoken the last few days, both had been incredibly busy. Tonight the psychologist would come to her apartment and Alex would tell her the whole truth. At this time everything was too confusing, the agent felt worried, confused, anxious, scared but mostly happy.

She didn't know how Kelly would react. Kelly and Lucy were some of the most important people in his life besides kara. The agent wouldn't know what to do if her girlfriend didn't accept her daughter or if Lucy didn't accept Kelly or that she was gay. That would simply destroy her. But the redhead didn't want to make assumptions of things that might not even happen.

Alex shook her head trying to scare away all of the bad thoughts on her mind and moved back to the living room and this time sat on the couch.

With shaking hands, she grabbed the folder in front of her. Alex took a deep breath and opened the document. The first thing she found was a a picture of who was obviously Lucy at maybe 7 years old. Alex let out a watery laugh, the kid was adorable. She had a missing tooth and messy wavy hair. Gently, the agent passed her fingers through her daughter's cheek.

After admiring the photo for a few minutes, Alex finally turned the page and came across another picture of Lucy at about 8 years old, but this time Alex frowned.

START OF TRIGGER WARNING

It was a picture of Lucy, with red puffy eyes, a burst lip and a black bruise on her small cheek. Alex could feel the tears forming in her eyes. Then there was a picture of Lucille's small back, It was covered in bumps and what looked like belt marks.
There were also small red circles of what looked like cigarette burns on her small and skinny arms.

She saw red, Alex would kill those bastards.

How there were people so cruel as to do something like that to a little girl. The agent decided to pass the page, this time it was a paper full of texts. It was information about Lucy, Alex figured out. At the beginning of the document, there was Lucy's complete name.

Lucille Alexis Adams. Even if she didn't choose it, Alex adored the name. And then there was a huge paragraph. Alex started to read it...

"The minor (Lucille Alexis Adams) has stated that her current caretaker is not fit for her. The minor dictates that she's currently living in an abusive environment, since Mr. Montgomery is an alcoholic man who has beaten her severely times.

A thorough investigation was done in the house and there are no signs of abuse. Mr. Montgomery was also questioned about the blows to the body of Miss Lucille and he dictated that she was injured when fighting with a classmate at school and that it was not the first time that happened.

It has been decided that the youngest Lucille Alex will be moved into the fostersystem for troubled children. Since apparently she has lied about a matter as serious as abuse, since no evidence of her statements was shown... "
