-As always, things didn't go as Eve had planned. Since the events of last night, Lucy hasn't said a word, not in the police patrol that took them to her apartment either in her house, no matter how much the blonde tried to figure out what had happened.

She even gave Lucille permission to bring Zeus with them to her house, which did not happen often since Eve did not like to have him inside her apartment, this just to cheer up the girl, which didn't work.

They got home at about 11:30 p.m, the blonde gave Lucy something to eat and then each of them took a shower and went to Eve's room and lay down on the blonde's bed.

Normally, When Lucy stayed with her to sleep, they would both snuggle up until Lucy fell asleep but this time when Eve approached her to hug her, Lucy flinched and moved as close to the edge of the bed as possible.

That surprised the blonde, but she preferred not to comment on anything. Maybe Lucille would tell her what happened in the morning, Eve would give her the night to process thoughts.

Eve turned on the TV and put on DuckTales since it was Lucy's favorite show, even if she didn't want to admit it proclaiming "it is a children's show, which I am not " and minutes later both of them fall asleep hoping it would be a peaceful night... She was so wrong.

At approximately 3 or 4 a.m., Eve woke up thanks to the screams of the young brunette, Everything was dark, so she couldn't see anything. Quickly, Eve turned on the night light that was on her coffee table and saw Lucille  curled up in a tight ball with her eyes wide open and with tears in her cheeks.

-"Lucy? Sweetie what's wrong?" the blonde woman said panicked touching Lucy's back, who as she could flinched away again, Eve frowned again.

The younger girl didn't answer, Lucy could only whine and stare at Eve who notice how flushed, Lucille's cheeks were. As careful as she could, she rested her hand on the teens forehead. Lucy was burning up, the oversized shirt the brunette was wearing was damp with sweat, Eve noticed.

No matter how much Eve tried to lower Lucy's temperature, she didn't make it. It was getting higher and higher, before the blonde knew; she found herself in a Uber with a fainted Lucy on her lap on the way to the hospital.

And here we are now, it was barely 7 in the morning, Lucy was still asleep since she had been given a sleeping pill or something so that she would finally sleep, since they arrived, Lucy didn't let anyone touch her and the doctors had to take extreme measures since they needed to lower her fever immediately.

On the other hand, Eve hadn't slept anymore she was so worried about Lucy that she just couldn't. The blonde woman was sitting next to Lucy's bed watching her and making sure she was okay.

The doctors haven't really make any tests to Lucy since they wanted the kid to be well rested first. But they did have made some questions to Eve that worried her a little.

They had asked her if she knew something about the hickies on her neck or the marks in her wrists as if she had been held down strongly and the worst they asked her why she had bruises and blood in her inner tights, Eve couldn't help but think the worst. But there was nothing else to do but wait until Lucille wakes up.

- Alex didn't sleep a little, she just couldn't. She wasn't sure if it was because of the frantic day she had or because there were a lot of things in her head or because of Lucy.

She wasn't going to lie saying that she wasn't worried about Lucille, she looked so hurt yesterday. She still didn't understand why she cared about Lucy... It didn't make sense, the small brunette was a random kid who she happened met.
