Bucky was burnt out.

He had been working here for... 2 weeks? He had lost track of time and everything felt weird. They weren't allowed to leave and he spent most of his day minding Sam.

Like he was a princess.

Sam had developed an attachment to Bucky so everything was going to plan. He had started to tell Bucky dreams he had had which meant he must have thought he could trust him or her as Sam thought.

Which was very quick.

Sometimes when he was in Sam's room chatting to him it almost felt like old times. Before Alex.

Before all of this.

'Bella! I need your help!'

Bucky sat up in bed. Sam?

What was Sam doing knocking on his door at this time. It was 7.

He climbed out of bed and quickly changed into... Another dress. A light blue one with flowers. Zemo must have had fun packing his clothes.

Bucky pulled the door open to reveal Sam. Sam was leaving against his doorframe smiling. He looked fine.

'What's the problem?'

Sam shrugged and pulled Bucky out of his room and began leading him to his room.

'Nothing. I just wanted to see you'

Bucky's mouth dropped open. Sam better not be developing an attachment to 'Bella' instead of Bucky.

Sam pulled Bucky into his bedroom and closed the door. He awkwardly smiled like the first time Bucky had been upstairs and began to speak.

'Bella I actually did need to talk to you but we can't talk here'

Bucky frowned. Huh.

'We have to go to the elevator. There's no cameras there'

Or mics.

'Oh... Ok'

Sam plastered a huge smile on his face and walked past him to the door. As he passed he leaned into Bucky and whispered in his ear.

'If anyone asks we are going to the kitchen'
'Uh...kay'

He followed Sam out to the elevator. They thankfully didn't meet anyone on their way there. They both stepped in and Sam pressed the bottom floor as they were on the top. As the elevator began moving Sam pressed the emergency stop button and the elevator stopped causing Bucky to fall in his heels.

'Sorry'

Sam helped him up.

Bucky's head was spinning. Why were they here? Sam suddenly dropped his bright smile and bit his lip looking lost.

'What is it-'
'Bella. I really trust you and you're basically my only friend so...'

Bucky nodded.

'Anyway, as you can see I pressed the stop button. Yes? I did that so we have time to talk as this is the only place in the building that I've found that doesn't have cameras or mics installed and I don't know why!'

Bucky's mouth dropped open. Sam was as suspicious about the building as Bucky was.

Well he had been living there for 6 months.

Sam suddenly sat on the ground, looking exhausted.

'There's a voice in my head'
'Oh'
'So it's exhausting to fight so... I need to sit'
