Morgan swung her leg over her bike, hopping off the pedal and walking it toward the building of the library. She had stayed with Sookie long enough for Gran's casket to be lowered to the ground, but after that, she had gone home and changed out of her dress, riding her bike toward the library to make sure everything was in order, also so she could arrange the new shipment of donations from a few towns over. Chaining up her bike, Morgan walked to the main entrance of the building where she unlocked it, walking inside and punching in the security code to shut off the beeping alarm. The five boxes of books had arrived the morning of Gran's service, and Morgan was there to sign for them before she went home to get changed. So all she had to worry about was unloading them, making sure they were in good condition before sorting them in their proper genres, an easy job and something to do to keep her kind off of things. Moreso the thoughts of everyone else at the service.

The boxes were behind the front desk, and one by one, she put them all on top and side by side. She opened the first one, taking out a book and looking it over, checking for any damages and making sure all of the pages were there before putting it on the double sided cart, repeating the process with the other books and boxes.

A book was placed on the shelf in the same genre, in alphabetical order, working on the books for the remainder of the day, occasionally inspecting one in case there was any damage. The bell of the main entrance jingled, indicating that someone entered the library, Morgan rolling her eyes at the scent of the person who walked in. A small sigh emitted from her nose, putting another book on the shelf, grabbing the handle of the cart and pulling it down the length of the shelf, stopping toward the end and picking up a book.

"Hey . ." A male voice said

"Chris, I am not in the mood today" Morgan said, not looking up from her book "so please just leave me alone"

"I just wanted to see how you were doing" he replied "with your Gran and all . ."

"You don't want no see how I'm doing and you know it" putting the book on the shelf "your attempt is to take advantage of my emotions, weave them to your liking, and try to get a fuck out of me" looking at him "just so you can spread some rumors the next day, saying I was all over you and I needed to feel something" grabbing another book and looking at it "it's not going to happen. Besides, I - "

She was cut off by the bell ringing again, indicating that someone else walked inside, a ghost of a smile forming on Morgan's lips, putting the book on the shelf as she listened to the footsteps approach. Morgan crouched down, grabbing the books from the bottom of the cart and moving them to the top so she could have easy access,

"Älskling" Eric greeted
Darling

Morgan stood straight, her smile growing as she watched Eric walk toward her,

". . . Kärlek" Morgan replied, holding on to a book
Love

Eric stepped in front of her, reaching up and lightly gripping the back of her neck, bringing her toward him as he dipped his head down, claiming her lips with his own. A content sigh emitted from her nose as she instantly complied, a soft smile never leaving her lips, even as he slowly pulled away, letting the kiss linger,

"Mår du bra?" Eric asked, looking at her
Are you okay?

"Ja" nodding slightly "Jag kanske har knäppt de människor som dök upp . . " causing him to furrow his eyebrows slightly "deras tankar var lite högljudda"
Yeah. I may have stepped at the people who showed up. Their thoughts were a little loud

"Who the fuck are you?" Chris asked, slightly puffing his chest out, as if he could intimidate the vampire

The Viking stood straight, looking at the other man in the library. Eric towered over Chris by a few inches, the blond being six foot four while the other was five foot eight, an inch taller than Morgan, who stood at five foot seven.

". . . Chris, this is Eric" Morgan said

"Her boyfriend" the Viking added

Jealousy formed in his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at Eric, who had no expression on his face.

"Are you hungry, älskling?" Eric asked, his eyes not leaving Chris "have you eaten?"

". . I've been here since the end of the service" Morgan informed

"Finish up with what you need to do" turning his head to look at her "take your time" then looking back at Chris "you can leave now"

". . I'll leave now" Chris replied, slightly dazed

He suddenly turned around and walked out of the building, a small hum emitting from Morgan as she turned around and continued to do her job. The bell on the door jingled, informing her that Chris left the library,

". . . Boyfriend?" Morgan asked, placing a book on the shelf "when did we establish that?"

". . You became mine when you allowed me to feed from you" Eric replied, turning to face her "I will not let another vampire know your blood is different"

"And what would being yours entail?" grabbing two more books from the cart

"Allowing me to feed from you" taking a step closer to her "you would be well protected" placing his hands on her waist "other . . fun things we can think of"

His hand lightly trailed up her sides, his fingers grazing over the sides of her breasts before trailing back down to her waist, a small breath emitting from her lips.

"Would you feed only from me?" She whispered, her eyes closing as she rested her head against his chest

"If you want me to feed from only you . . " his lead lowering slightly, nose brushing against her hair "I will"

"Only from me" letting his arms wrap around her waist "but not here, not where I work"

"Then you accept?" his arms lightly tightening around her

". . . Yes" opening her eyes, turning her head slightly to look at him "I'm yours, Eric. Only yours"
