Longshadow tried to speed toward Morgan, fear etched in her eyes a gasp emitting from her when she was suddenly pulled from her seat, wrapped in the safe embrace of Eric. This caused Longshadow to turn to Sookie for some reason, Ginger shouting, scared as well,

"Ginger, enough" Pam said, causing the blonde woman to instantly stopped screaming,

"Thank you" Eric said

Before Longshadow could bite Sookie, Bill removed a handle from the beers tap and stabs it through his back, entering his heart, causing him to stop for a split second. Blood pored out of his mouth, all over Sookie, Morgan gagging slightly at the smell, turning her head to Eric's chest to take in his cologne. Longshadow fell into a pile of blood and meat, causing Ginger to scream at the sight before throwing up the contents of her stomach,

"Humans" Pam commented "honestly, Bill, I don't know what you see in them"

In the bathroom of Fangtasia, Sookie was cleaning up the blood from her skin, but in the main room, Ginger is cleaning the floor,

"How did I end up with you people?" She asked herself "Jesus. Mother Mary in heaven. I'm so sorry, Mama. I'm so sorry"

"When Ginger is finished, glamour her for me" Eric said, his arms still wrapped around Morgan

"Are you sure?" Pam asked "she's been glamored one too many times already. Who knows how much of her is left"

"It's either that or turn her" shrugging slightly "you want her?"

"Please, I'm not that desperate" scoffing lightly "glamour it is"

"Excellent" lightly tightening his hold on Morgan, then looking at Bill "come. I'll buy you a Blood"

He slightly adjusted his arms, leading Morgan to his office, Bill following and watching how he was around Morgan, his eyebrows furrowing slightly at the sight. Once they entered the room, Eric sat his woman down in the desk chair, giving a bottle of Tru Blood to Bill,

"Thank you" Bill said, taking the bottle

"How do you stomach that stuff?" Eric asked "don't you find it metallic and vile?"

"I don't think about it" he replied "it's sustenance, that's all" causing Eric to laugh "what?"

"If you're their poster boy, the mainstreaming movement is in very deep trouble" he chuckled "Tru Blood. It keeps you alive, but it will bore you to death"

"Let's cut to the chase, shall we?" wanting to change the subject

"You killed a vampire, Bill" standing next to Morgan "for a human"

"Yet you pulled Morgan out of the way before she became injured" he countered, glancing at the woman in the chair

"Her safety is more important to me than you believe" looking at him "she is also mine. I must protect her when I can"

"Why?" His eyes narrowing slightly

"Now, now" tilting his head slightly "we're not talking about Morgan, Bill" a smirk forming on his lips "what are we gonna do about this?"

". . . What do you have in mind?" He asked "if I hadn't done what I did, would you have let his disloyalty stand?"

"Whatever I did to Longshadow, I would not have done in front of witnesses" he replied simply "especially not vampire witnesses. Not smart, Bill. Not smart at all"

Sookie and Bill soon left the bar, Morgan staying behind, Eric coming up with a lame excuse for Sookie, saying he needed to talk to her, but promised to have her returned home safely when their conversation was finished. Their conversation merely included lips clashing with one another's, the woman pinned back against the wall with her arms wrapped around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist. For some reason, Eric couldn't get enough of her soft lips, wanting to kiss her over and over again, as much as he possibly could, and he didn't care about not doing anything else. All he had wanted was her lips against his, it made him feel human. Her eyes were closed as he trailed his lips down her jaw, her breathing slightly heavy, almost breathless from his deep kiss,

"You haven't fed" she whispered "I can feel it. I don't know how, but I can feel it" one hand tangling in his hair "take what you need, kärlek. Take what you need"

She felt her cardigan being moved from her shoulder, along with the straps of her tank top and bra, a small click filling her ears as his fangs extended, piercing through her skin as gently as possible, accessing her vein, allowing blood to pour in his mouth. Morgan never felt pain when he fed from her, he made sure to not hurt her, never wanting her to be in pain, never wanting to cause her pain. Eric took what he needed, enough to hold him over till the next night, watching as the puncture marks sealed themselves shut, licking the leftover blood from her skin, a small sigh sitting from her nose, resting her head back against the wall, opening her eyes and looking at him,

"Don't look at me like that" Eric warned "I will not be responsible for what happens next"

A laugh suddenly emitted from her, taking her head from the wall and resting her forehead on his shoulder, her shoulders shaking from her laughter. A small smile formed on his lips, her laughter slowly calming down as he placed a kiss to her neck, her legs unwrapping from his waist, feet touching the floor, but keeping her arms wrapped around his neck. She felt content with Eric, and she didn't know why, but she wasn't going to question it, knowing he's important to her in some way, or else she wouldn't have seen him. Morgan's fingers lightly moved across the back of his neck, feeling his cool skin against her warm fingers, and they simply stood there,

"We'll be going out soon" Eric said

Morgan's eyebrows furrowed slightly, bringing her head from his shoulder and looking at him, confusion in her eyes,

"Just the two of us" he added

". . Like a date?" a small smile slowly forming on her lips

"Is that what humans call it these days?" teasing smirk forming on his lips

A small chuckle emitted from him when she lightly swatted the back of his head, playfully rolling her eyes.

"If you ever take me to a bookstore . . ." she warned "it would be the biggest mistake of your life"
