"What happened back there?" Sookie asked as Alcide drove the Impala down the road "everyone started shifting back there. You almost shifted"

"He couldn't help it" Morgan defended

"When that energy starts rolling, it takes you over" Alcide added "Morgan stopped it, somehow. But you're lucky you got out of there alive"

". . Tell me more about Russell Edgington" Sookie said

"He's just some rich vampire" he replied "that's all I knew till tonight"

"I gotta talk to him" looking at him

"Are you out of your fucking mind?" Morgan asked, rotating her body to look at her

"The brand, the blood, the vampire" she listed "he knows where Bill is, or he knows who knows"

"You will stay away from him" she said sternly "he has an army of werewolves, on V, making them stronger, more savage and more deadly. You saw what happened back there, one little . . hand gesture" waving her hand for emphasis "and they followed his command like trained pets. Forget it"

Sookie didn't respond, instead, she removed her short black wig, then the cap, shaking out her hair as she let out a sigh, leaning back in her seat,

"I'm sorry about all this driving, bub" Morgan said, relaxing in her seat

"It's all right, darlin" he assured, reaching out and lacing his fingers with hers

"Why couldn't we get a hotel?" Sookie asked

"Who'd pay for three rooms?" Morgan answered

Again, she didn't respond, knowing she didn't have the money to spend for three rooms, but Morgan did, something the blonde didn't know about. She didn't even know that she was technically a princess, which was probably something she would keep to herself for now.

They were back at the Du Locke house, Morgan standing in the kitchen as she made herself a cup of tea, using her new favorite mug that Alcide had gotten her since she still had a love for books.

She was still in her clothes she wore to Lou Pine's, but her heels were off and her slippers were on, her bag resting on the counter, checking her phone to see if she had any messages from her other mate, frowning slightly when she didn't see anyt...

She was still in her clothes she wore to Lou Pine's, but her heels were off and her slippers were on, her bag resting on the counter, checking her phone to see if she had any messages from her other mate, frowning slightly when she didn't see anything. A small hum emitted from her as the kettle began to scream, causing her to turn off the flames and pour the boiling water into her mug, what held her favorite tea and desired amount of sugar. She put her phone in the pocket of her skirt, turning her head slightly when she felt a presence, her eyebrows furrowing slightly as she placed the kettle back on the stove, turning and walking toward the door, finding that Lex was already there, looking through the peephole.

"Morgan!" A familiar voice called out "Morgan! It's me!"

The woman have Lex a small nod, causing him to open the door, allowing a familiar vampire to walk inside,

"Bill" she greeted "I have to say, you got some nerve"

"Morgan, you must listen" Bill said "Sookie is in danger, you need to get her out of Bon Temps"

". . . Jesus Christ, when is this girl not in danger?" she muttered, then turning to Zeus "retrieve Sookie, please"

The large wolf turned around and walked up the stairs, Morgan turning to look at Bill, who shifted slightly under her gaze, even glancing at Lex every now and then,

". . Zeus has grown" Bill commented

"He has" Morgan replied

Sebastian let out a caw as he flew in the house, which caused Bill to take a step back, the raven flying past her. Footsteps walked down the stairs, causing Morgan to turn toward them, Sookie walking down the steps, pausing in her tracks when she saw the vampire that held on to her heart, Alcide walking in from the garage.

"Bill!" The blonde said happily

She hurried over toward him, wrapping her arms around him as soon as she was able to, which caused him to do the same, a sniffle emitting from her. Sebastian flew down the stairs, Morgan's jaw clenching slightly when he held her heels in his claws, causing her to take them from him, kicking off her slippers and putting her heels on her feet.

"Sookie . ." Bill said as they pulled back slightly "you have to go now" causing her smile to fall

"Is that all you have to say to me?" She asked, pulling back completely

"There is no time" he replied, looking toward Morgan and Alcide "you must take her away"

"Wherever I'm going, you're coming too" shaking her head as tears formed in her eyes

"It's too late" cupping her cheek in his hand "there's no hope for me" looking toward the witch "please, Morgan, you've gotta get her out of Bon Temps as fast as you can"

"What do you mean there's no hope?" she asked

"You have to leave now" he insisted

"I will, but tell me what I'm running from" she said

The front door opened once more, Lex standing in front of Morgan,

"Come on in" Coot smirked

"You led them here?!" Morgan asked, glaring at Bill

Bill sped toward one of the werewolves, fighting him off as Coot looked around,

"Grab the girl, you imbecile" Russell ordered

Coot growled slightly, moving toward Sookie, Lex moving Morgan out of the way Russell took a step forward, frowning when he couldn't enter, Coot freezing in his tracks when he felt a pressure surrounding him.

"Invite me in" Russell ordered

"Fuck off" Morgan shot back

He shrugged slightly, stepping to the side, allowing more werewolves to rush inside, Lex rushing in to protect Morgan, doing his job, the sight of Zeus making some of them freeze for a moment, until Morgan was grabbed from behind, a surprised yell emitting from her. Her focus was disrupted, allowing Coot to advance toward Sookie,

"Zeus, kill!" The witch ordered

The protector shot up, grabbing a werewolf by his neck and ripping it out, causing blood to spray out on to the hardwood floor and light colored walls, snarls emitting from the large canine as he lunged toward another werewolf, the supernatural creature being no match for the much larger and stronger wolf.

"No!" Sookie exclaimed

A bright light emitted from her palm, Coot falling back to the floor while Russell let out a happy laugh, the others looking at her in shock.

"Fantastic!" He exclaimed as Sookie looked at her palm in shock

Morgan jammed the heel of her shoe into her captors foot, a groan emitting from him as his hold tightened around her, but she expected as much. She threw her head back, catching the werewolf in the nose, his arms unwrapping from around her, allowing the woman to grasp the side of his head and slam it into the doorframe, letting him fall to the floor, knocked out.
