Morgan's eyes trailed over the summoning spell in her grimoire, sitting on the kitchen counter with her left knee crossed over her right, the book resting on her leg and in her hands. She had everything she needed for the spell, always having what she needed in her witch room or in the garden, but it was just the matter of actually figuring out when she needed to cast the spell. There was no specific time when the spell should be casted, which could happen any time she pleased.

"You're debating on it, aren't you?" Lex asked, leaning back against the kitchen island in front of her "casting the spell, calling more grays?"

"You didn't see that look in her eyes" she replied, looking at him "and her mind . ." shaking her head slightly "it was filled with so many voices, I couldn't tell which one was hers"

Lex didn't know what it was like to have a power like Morgan's, there were so many things she could do, and in the year and a half that Sookie had been gone, she became a master with her abilities. She still needed to feed regularly, which was something she had grown used to, only feeding from Alcide, Eric, Lex and Atlas, their blood was the only thing she could keep down. Any other blood smelled disgusting to her. Morgan's eyebrows furrowed when the temperature in the kitchen decreased slightly, but only by a few degrees. In the ways of a witch, there was explanation for just about everything. And a sudden change in temperature was a sign of someone wanting to communicate with her. At this, Morgan closed her grimoire, hopping off the countertop and walking out of the kitchen, Lex following her with slightly furrowed eyebrows. There were always times where she would walk out of the room during a conversation, but there was always a good reason behind it, especially since she's a witch.

The two of them made their way inside the witch room, blackout curtains covering the windows, which would leave the room in constant darkness, small flames sparked on the wicks of the candles scattered around, lighting up the room as she set the grimoire down on her desk. She turned toward the pentagram etched into the ground, walking to the center of it and lowering herself to her knees. Lex stood off to the side, watching as she held a hand out, as if she was ready to receive something,

"Powers of the Divine, hear me" Morgan whispered

A familiar black rosary gently landed in her hand, one that she always kept in a safe place, small tears forming in her eyes when she looked at it.

"I call to you, spirit from the other side" her voice much softer, closing her eyes as her fingers wrapped around the black beads "come to me, I summon thee. Cross now the great divide" her eyebrows furrowed slightly when a hand gently grasped her own

"Don't cry for me, sweetheart" a kind voice said softly

She opened her eyes, more tears forming in them when she saw the face of the woman who raised her. Adele Stackhouse sat on her knees in front of Morgan, a warm smile on her lips as their hands lowered slightly, wearing the same clothing she wore when she was killed,

"You look beautiful" she smiled "and those men of yours, they're quite handsome"

Morgan let out a light laugh, raising her free hand and wiping her fallen tears away. The older woman was exactly the way she remembered, and her voice was the same as always -- welcoming and warm, something she needed to hear.

"I am so proud of you" Adele continued "but I want you to be careful, sweetheart. That witch, she is a dangerous one. You must cast that spell, call your brothers and sisters so they can help protect you. Because that witch, as soon as she finds out about the history of your power, she will want you. And she will stop at nothing to get you. It's best to be one step ahead. I love you, sweetheart. I don't want you hurt"

". . I miss you" she confessed

"I've always been here" she smiled "watching over you, Sookie and Jason. And I will always be there when you need me, okay?" causing Morgan to nod slightly "those men of yours, they're the best thing that's ever happened to you. Hold them close"

Adele reached out, cupping Morgan's cheek in her hand, which caused her eyes to close as she leaned into her touch. She faded away, returning to the divide in peace, Morgan's shoulders going slack, her head lowering slightly as she looked at the floor.

". . She's on your mantle" Lex noted, watching his charge "what'd she say?" he couldn't hear anything the older woman said

"She wants me to cast the spell" opening her eyes, looking at him "to summon other grays, so they can help protect me because Marnie is dangerous" letting out a low sigh through her nose, looking down at the rosary ". . Return"

The rosary lifted itself from her hand, moving back to the shelf it was on, the witch pushing herself to her feet, reaching out and grasping the grimoire as it levitated toward her. When she opened it, the pages turned on their own, leading her toward the summoning spell that will call upon other grays, and she knew there wasn't going to be many.

To Call Gray(s)

Eric was asleep for the day, Alcide was at work and her father was in a meeting with a few other vampires. Morgan wasn't sure how they would feel if she preformed the spell, but in reality, she didn't really care all that much. Grays can't harm other grays because there are so few in the world, so it would be the smart thing to do,

"Item from familiar" she muttered "five willow leaves, blood of a gray, bird of choice"

"Scarlet Tanagers can fly at a great distance" Lex suggested "that would be the best option"

"There aren't many grays out there" she said "two tanagers would be the safest bet"

"How will they know?" curiosity in his voice

"The birds will carry Sebastian's feather" looking at the book "the witches will scry for him, thus, locating the one who called them. Familiars don't leave their masters"

". . Are you sure about this?" knowing he would be there every step of the way regardless of her answer

"I don't have much of a choice" looking at him "besides, it's just one spell to call two. And it's about time I connect with my possible brothers and sisters"
