Morgan looked around the town of Saint Alice, tears forming in her eyes as she stood in the middle of the street, looking at the graffiti on some of the buildings,
"Well?" Andy asked as he watched her
"No" Morgan whispered "no, no, no, no, no" looking around
"Morgan?" Raven asked, concern in her voice
The woman with white hair kneeled down, placing her fingertips on the ground and closing her eyes. She cringed as she heard the distant screams from the citizens of Saint Alice, which was a few towns over from Bon Temps. Her eyes snapped open, standing straight and walking in a direction, the others following her. A pit filled with bodies was dug behind one of the buildings, ranging from children to elderly,
"I can't feel anyone" Morgan informed as she looked down at the pit
"There's no one left" Sookie muttered "they either killed or took everyone"

The search party entered the house that belonged to the girl Sookie had found in the woods when she walked home from Bellefleur's. And even as she stood on the porch, Morgan couldn't feel the presence of any living person, Alcide's hand lacing with her own, not knowing what she was feeling, but wanting to do what he could to help.
"Renard Parish Sheriffs Department" Andy called out, announcing himself with his gun aimed to the floor "is anybody home?"
"There's no one here" Morgan informed
He looked back at her for a moment, knowing what her words meant. Sookie walked over to a small table that held framed photographs of the woman she found,
"That's her" she confirmed
"Looks like her sister lived here" Sam added, looking at the pictures as well
"Husband, a kid" Jason said
"They all lived here together" Morgan said as she looked around
They walked through the living room, making their way to the kitchen, where food had been set out on the table,
"Got 'em during a goddamn pizza dinner" Andy said
"When do you think they were here?" Sookie asked as Morgan picked up a highchair, setting it down on it's legs
"Hard to say" he replied
Jason bent down, sniffing a slice of pizza that was on a plate, picking it up and taking a bite,
"Oh, Jason, that's disgusting" Morgan said, looking at him
"Two and a half days ago" he informed, chewing on the food "looks like they stick with one town at a time, hit it again and again until the jobs over, then move on to the next"
"So this was one of the last houses they hit before Bon Temps?" Sookie asked
"If Jason's pizza forensics are to be trusted, yeah" Andy replied
"Why would this family sit here like sitting ducks?" confusion in her voice
"Gas station was cleared out" Alcide informed
"Safer in the house than out on the road on your own" Morgan added
"With a child, no less" Andy said, picking up a baby's bib from the table
"We don't got all day" Sam spoke up "let's spread out, see what we can find"
At his words, Morgan walked out of the kitchen, hesitantly making her way upstairs, finding her way into a bedroom that she was pretty sure belonged to the young woman. She walked over to the vanity as she looked around, spotting a diary sitting there with a pen on top. Letting out a low sigh, she picked up the book, opening it to one of the pages,

They say it happens when you least expect it. Tonight I was just minding my own business, having dinner at the diner when he walked into my life. His name is Henry. Henry Ellis, and I knew he was a vampire right away, with his eyes as clear and piercing as I've ever seen.
"Well that sounds vaguely familiar" Morgan commented, sarcasm in her voice, flipping to another page

I'm trying so hard not to run away with my heart, but I think I'm losing that fight. Tonight, Henry took me to Fangtasia for the first time. I should've been scared of this new world, but I swear the touch of Henry's hand just wipes away all my fears, makes it feel like one big dream I'm just walking through. Like I said, I can't fight it. I am his, totally and completely.

There was an attack at the church tonight. Everyone who was there is either dead or just straight up disappeared. They're saying it was the sick vampires, that they came out of the dark as the wedding was letting out. I wish I could ask Henry why this happened, why they'd do such a thing. There's so much I wanna ask him since this disease took him from me.

They came again tonight. Another ambush. 15 dead and 30 missing. How can this be happening, that our government would leave us for dead? Still no sign of Holly and Todd. I don't want to write it 'cause it makes it real, but I think they're gone. I wonder why I wait, why I don't just crush up some pills, crawl into bed beside Kaylen, and let us drift off to sleep. I guess there's a shred of hope left, hope that they might still have the decency to spare a baby. And in the end, I want to believe Kaylen knows someone stayed with her and fought for her to the death, as we all deserve.
Morgan didn't know she was crying until Alcide gently wiped her tears away taking the book from her hands and setting it back on the vanity,
"The rest is blank" she muttered
"We'd best be on our way" Sam spoke up from the doorway
"Sun'll be setting soon" Raven added

Morgan was back in the passengers seat of Alcide's truck, the diary she read running through her mind, reminding her exactly of Sookie, of how she fell hard and fast for Bill almost as soon as she saw him. Thinking back to it made her realize that Bill might have known who and what Morgan was when he first saw her, the way his eyes just lingered, and it made sense to her.
"Bill knew" she muttered
"Knew what?" Alcide asked
"He knew what I was -- what I am" looking out the window "when he first walked into Merlotte's, he knew" the truck pulling into Sequoia Road ". . and I saw him coming. Bill, then Eric, Godric, then you. I saw everyone coming. Why didn't I see this, though?"
"Don't beat yourself up over it, darlin" glancing at her "your power is strong, but you're not . . Billith" earning a chuckle from her
"I think I might have to call in some reinforcements" moving some of her hair away from her face
". . I don't think you have to" slowly the truck down
Morgan looked at him in confusion, turning her attention toward the house, a smile forming on her lips when she saw Monroe and Maddox on the porch, the young witch getting out of the truck, hurrying over to them. Their arms wrapped around one another, the woman with white hair closing her eyes, letting out a relieved breath.
