Your body flew through the air, along with everybody else. Amongst the explosion you caught a glimpse of Tony summoning his suit.

Before the explosion something was wrong, you knew. There had been a sense of danger you could feel. Only now did you realise what the danger was.

You were pulled into somebody's arms as rubble flew. Glass broke into a million tiny pieces, a few larger shards cut their way into your skin.

You were turned upright. Preparing for impact, the landing was softened.

"Is everybody alright?" Tony shouted. Nat laid toppled over on cement. Steve was up, in his fighting stance.

"What the hell just happened?" Bucky yelled. "Somebody just set off a bomb!" Bruce replied.

Opening your eyes you were greeted by Loki's face. You laid over top of him. He watched you with wide eyes.

"Search the area for anymore threats." Thor wielded mjolnir. Everybody got up from their positions and ran about. Clint went to grab his bow and arrows.

"Are you alright?" Loki asked, putting his hands on your waist.

"Yes- thank you for cushioning my impact. Are you okay?" You looked down at him.

"I'm fine. Although you do have some glass in your arm." He pointed out. "Oh I didn't even notice?" You looked at your bleeding arm.

"Perhaps if you got off me then I could help." Loki smirked. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" You said, getting off Loki.

"No worries dear." That same smirk stuck to his face as you pulled him up.

"You alright Y/n?" Steve asked coming over to you. "Yes thank you. Loki kinda saved me." Shrugging you looked at Loki who seemed a bit flustered.

"Hm. Well I'm glad you're safe." Cap replied, nodding.

"We're going to the medical bay for a moment." Loki told Steve. "Y/n?" Steve looked at you confused. Pointing towards the shards in your arm he nodded.

"Does it hurt?" He asked, pulling your arm to him. Loki refused to let go, glaring at Steve. "No. I can't even feel it." You replied casually.

"I can take it from here, thank you." Loki announced to Cap, annoyed as he picked you up swiftly. "Hey!" You shrieked as he carried you out of the destructed area. Cap just watched you as Loki took you out.

"Calm down. I won't hurt you." He softened his voice as he brought you to the elevator. His arms were big and warm. His shirt sleeves rubbed against your thighs.

"I could feel it." You whispered into his chest. "I saw." Loki replied. "What did it feel like?"

"It was worrysome. Kinda suffocating. I was being drowned in the feeling of uncertainty and anxiousness."

Loki only hummed, stepping out into the familiar white room.

He laid you onto a bed gently. "This may hurt a bit darling."

"Darling?" You blushed at his new nickname for you. "Is there a problem with me calling you that?" He smirked, bending down to face you directly.

Shaking your head you tried to keep your cheeks from redding further.

Loki brought his hand to your arm. "Count from 3." He told you.

"3..." You started but before you knew it, a large stingy feeling seized your arm. "I thought you were pulling it on 1!?"

"I didn't want to make you nervous." He smiled innocently.

He plucked a few more shards of glass out of your delicate skin. Loki washed away the blood with a warm wash cloth. You had to show him how to put on a band-aid though.
