"Really? You like Loki!" Nat half shouted from her spot on your vanity chair.
You paced back and forth, "Well I don't know anymore!" You threw your hands up.
Nat smiled, stood up and took your arms into her hands.
"There's only one way we can find out."
"Which is?" You raised an eyebrow.
"You and Loki should go out together." Nat grinned widely, sitting both of you down again.
"Like a date?" You squinted your eyes at her.
"Exactly! But let's not call it that. Let's just say it's a hang out?"
You buried your hands in your palms, your silky hair draping over your restraints.
"Stark would never allow that."
-
"Sure." He shrugged.
"Hah! You owe me 5 bucks Y/n." Nat laughed.
"Whatever." You shot her a glare. "Thank you Tony, but we can't leave the tower with these restraints." You held up your wrists.
"Which is.. another reason why I'm letting you go out." He looked over at you through his blue tinted glasses.
"What do you mean?" You scrunched your face in confusion.
"Cap and I have come to an agreement to take off your restraints.."
Your eyes went wide with happiness. Yay! No more clunky restraints to deal with!
"Under one condition." Tony continued.
You groaned. Of course there was a condition.
"The restraints will be replaced with this." Tony placed a small box on the table in front of us.
You took the box carefully and opened it. Inside was a black beaded bracelet.
"What do you think?" Tony asked you, looking over his glasses now.
"It's nice. But it's just a bracelet?"
"Not just any bracelet. I designed this myself. It has a tracker, taser, GPS and more." Tony shrugged as if it was no big deal.
You breathed in, impressed.
"I also put Jarvis's system in it so he can send messages or make phone calls wherever and whenever you need." Tony smirked at his invention.
"This is brilliant Tony! It's much better than these things, that's for sure."
"Yes, I know. Reindeer games will get a matching one as well. Then you can go out."
"Thanks so much." You smiled at him.
"Anytime kid."
-
The restraints fell to the floor as you twisted your wrist around. There was a small amount of bruising but that was alright.
"I'm free!" Loki smiled, looking over at you. Tony slipped on the bracelets before Loki could teleport somewhere.
"These bracelets will keep track of your powers. They're still restraints but it's just one step up from those." Tony explained, nodding down to the bigger restraints on the ground.
You nodded with him as he talked. "Have fun kids." Tony smiled then shooed you away.
Loki took your hand and brought you to the hallway. You took a deep breath in.
