"Goodbye!", "Farewell!", "Have a safe journey!" Could all be heard from the bustling crowd of Asgardians, waiting eagerly by the bridge.
"Thank you for visiting my lady." The townspeople would bow to you as you passed, arm linked with Loki's.
"See they love you." He smirked, appealed by their love for his partner.
"Yes, I'll miss everyone here. Everybody has been so good to me.. the clothing.. the food.. the landscapes.. it's all so beautiful, addicting almost." You expressed as you left the town.
"I agree deeply darling." Loki watched as you tried to explain your happiness.
"I'm sad leaving here honestly, but I'm also very happy. I've found my true heritage, and it's who I am." You continued on.
Loki absolutely loved listening to you talk, even your voice was heaven to him. You could just see it by the way he looked at you. Even the smallest glance could say a thousand words.
~Lokis POV~
Her voice is heavenly. She's like my drug and now they're all finally getting a taste, this is exactly what I wanted. Win the hearts of the people, and perhaps Odin will accept my proposal I've made to him, unbeknownst to her.
She said something though, about her heritage. Oh, how I still feel so terrible. It was wrong of me to not have told her sooner. It was a shame she had to find out like that, but maybe it was also for the best. It was a good opportunity to finally say it.
"Y/n." I spoke, my voice slightly shaky. "Yes?" She stopped and stared at me. Damn, those eyes you could get lost in. They're like the blue jungle, you go in and never find yourself out again.
"I'm sorry, I still feel so guilty that I hadn't told you my true heritage sooner." At least she knows now.
Honestly, when I told her I expected her to back away, to be scared, to never want to see me again. Instead she was only more loving and supportive and understanding.
"Loki.." She furrowed her eyebrows in a sad tone. I hated when she was sad, I'd do anything to make sure she's okay. I looked down at her in pity. "It's okay. I'm glad you had said something at least, instead of not at all."
I let out a huge sigh of relief. I wasn't in trouble. "I know but you shouldve known sooner." I frowned slightly.
Her little hand took mine and she started walking again. Thor was already at the Bifrost talking to Heimdall.
"Loki.. I am thankful you told me, and you had a right not to tell me sooner. Always remember," Her small face turned upwards towards mine, "I'll always love you Lohk. No matter what happens. Although if you go off and try to destroy new york again.. that might be a different story." She giggled.
Her laugh was contagious, I thought as I chuckled along with her. And yet, I'd still not told her the truth about that incident. She'd said she'd "love me no matter what" though, right?
"Mhm, I'm just glad we're finally going home! I can't wait to see the new compound." She strolled along, arm linked with mine.
The faraway townspeople could still be heard shouting their goodbyes and waving graciously.
"You miss the team huh?"
"I do.." She nodded quickly, "I can't wait to see father."
I grinned seeing her happy. "You'll get to see him soon darling, just wait. We'll get you settled into the compound first then we can go, how about that?" I explained the plan to her.
"That sounds perfect. Exactly what I was thinking!" She did a small jump of joy, probably without even realizing it. "I'll get to tell everyone about the amazing world this is, everybody would want to see it for themselves I'm sure!"
I could tell she was excited to now be apart of a new world. Who wouldn't be? "Omg! Loki we should go on another date when we get back too!"
"Of course darling." I grinned down at her. She'd switched her arm for hand and treaded along the rainbow bridge, pulling me along.
Thor and Heimdall watched patiently as we approached.
"Ready to go brother, Lady Y/n?" Thor clapped his hands in one large movement.
"Yep! It's been an incredible time here," She turned to Heimdall, "But I'm ready to go home and see everyone."
"A reasonable request." Heimdall bowed his head gracefully in agreement. The three of us together stood in front of the bifrost, awaiting Heimdall to open it for us. Y/n stood closely by my side and Thor stood a few feet away. I took one more clear look at my darling and all of a sudden we were in a rainbow tunnel.
I always seemed to get a bit motion sick while using the Bifrost for whatever reason, maybe because of all of the spinning, flying and colours.
Y/n's hand found mine again and she latched on tight, smiling with her eyes closed, it was pretty cute actually.
A piece of her hair flew everywhere, I clutched it, careful not to pull and hurt her and I tucked it safely behind her ear.
Y/n had a large grin on her cute face. You could just tell she was excited to be home once again by just looking at her. Y/n was always an emotional person.
Even when I watched her at her Cafe, she was a very expressive person, she was constantly happy it seemed like. It hurt me a little when she'd gone crazy those few times.. but you couldn't really blame her either.. everyone's gone crazy at least once in their life. I? Perhaps way more than once, though we don't speak about the past now.
Within a few instances we were back on the ground again. Y/n had toppled over and fell back into my arms, I was able to catch her before she fell flat on the ground. Her cheeks glowed red again, gods I loved when she blushed. She really didn't know how gorgeous she was.
"Lady Y/n, brother," Thor stepped up, "We have arrived at the compound, welcome." He presented with jazzy hands. Behind that large oger stood a giant rectangular building with another wing ot the right of the building.
In the front there were large courtyards with healthy, up-kept grass and benches and fountains. To the side there was the quinjet and a platform, apparently for Thor to land on. A giant 'A', the Avengers symbol had been incorporated on top of the building. I looked down at Y/n. She was in awe, she'd never seen such luxurious gardens such as these, except on Asgard, I'm proud to say.
She smiled up at me and we headed towards the building, eager to greet the team and tour the new building.
Hello everyone, if this seems like an uncompleted chapter.. that's because it is. This was my last remaining draft I had left to post, so I may as well finish and post it.
A little health announcement: I am returning to (better) health after spending a week in the hospital. I'm not fully alright yet, but with the correct treatments and plenty of rest the doctors suspect the condition will be controlled by the end of July, with often flare ups.
I suffer from "necrotizing fasciitis" which (in short term) is cannibalistic bacteria that eats my flesh. It can cause many problems and can be fatal. As well as "pityrosporum folliculitis" which causes horrible breakouts on every part of my body, (yes, everywhere) and also causes my skin to have more histamine which is basically the bodies reactions to itchy things, so I'm constantly itchy too 😀. And I also found out I have "Keratosis pilaris", which is common but causes little bumps on my skin. It's treatable but not cureable.
Personally, I think I'll be alright. I know I probably just told you news that sounds horrible but don't worry, I'll be fine!
Thank you for everyone's concern and thank you for reading, I greatly appreciate it.
