The sounds of footsteps were the only sound that could be heard.
You were on your way to meet Frigga. Yep, the Frigga. Goddess of fertility and wisdom, she is the mother of your love Loki, who is a very different person from Frigga, but you still love him all the same.
"I hope you like her, she met you while you were unconcious and she already adores you." Loki spoke proudly, although you could still feel the anxiety radiating off of him.
"I'll love her, I promise." You grinned up at him.
You could tell he was smiling on the inside but refused to show his emotions.
After awhile of following him down many flights of steps you arrived in the main area of the palace, where maids and workers were spotted often and the Asgardian warriors were heard training out in the arenas.
Loki led you around corners and down long corridors when you finally reached a common room. The walls were plated with gold sheets and the floor was a cozy marble.
In the center of the room stood a circular fireplace, and around that were seating.
Some maids were gathered around on the other side of the room, then quickly scattered when they caught sight of Loki and you.
When the maids scattered a beautiful woman was revealed. She had dirty blonde, almost brown hair and bright, wise blue eyes.
She gave off a cheerful vibe everytime you looked at her. She was magnificent.
"Y/n, meet my mother. Frigga." Loki introduced you.
Frigga smiled at Loki like she knew something you didn't. She then stood up to greet you as well.
"It's wonderful to meet you Y/n."
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well." Your lips curved into a grin. "Thank you for healing me, I'm forever in your debt." You added, bowing a bit.
"It's quite alright child, I'm glad Loki brought you to me when he did." She turned to Loki, then back to you.
"Yes, Loki has been so helpful and kind to me." You blushed, thinking about some of your encounters.
Loki seemed to be thinking the same thing as he bowed his head silently.
"You'll be staying a couple more days, right Loki?"
Loki looked up and nodded, "I wanted to show Y/n around Asgard."
Your heart lit up with excitement. Finally, something to look forward to! You were already eager to go on an adventure with Loki.
"I'm sure you'll love it, dear." Frigga returned her attention to you, "Just remember to rest well, otherwise the healing spell could wear off."
You took a mental note as Frigga explained the healing spell process to you.
A maid entered the room again and came up to Frigga, whispering something to her.
Frigga didn't seem worry so it must've been nothing but still, "I must be going, Odin requires my presence."
I nodded quickly, remembering that Frigga was indeed married to the Allfather, Odin, God of the gods and adoptive "father" to Loki.
"Have a good day ma'am." You bowed. "No need to be so formal dear, just call me Frigga." She smiled happily at you.
"Frigga." You repeated with a matching smile.
And with that, the maid escorted Frigga away.
Your heart slowed down from It's fast beat, which you hadn't even noticed as you were too focused on the allmother.
