"Yes Thor I know." Loki sighed, annoyed.
Your eyes flickered open once again. Your eyelids felt droopy and tired even though you were wide awake.
Groaning you sat up a little bit, catching Loki's attention.
"You're awake darling." He showed you a smile. You smiled back up at him.
"My head hurts.." You frowned, remembering you were ill.
"I know. We're leaving soon for Asgard. Mother will help you." Loki reassured. You could feel the anxiousness in his voice, the worry for you to be alright.
You could only nod, you felt too weak to speak back. Loki watched as you fought to keep your eyes open.
"What about the move?" You questioned. Would the move be post-poned while you were in Asgard?
"The others will set up at the compound while we are home. We will return to the new building once you're healthy again."
"How will you know where it is?
"Thor will know the way, he'll be summoning the Bifrost for us."
You simply nodded at his answer. "Mother will love you." Loki said quietly, watching you with grassy eyes.
"I hope so. I've read about her, she sounds so beautiful." The edges of your lips curved into a smile as you watched Loki's expressions.
"She is. She's the most thoughtful, best person I know." Loki agreed.
You loved seeing him talk about his mother in such a way. It brought joy to you and sadness at the same time. Knowing that you could never hold a conversation about your own.
That small glint of a smile faded once again, as the silence overtook the interaction.
"Brother, I'm ready to go." Thor called from outside the room.
Loki looked at you quickly, "Darling, this may be painful but you'll be alright." He stepped forward.
You already got the hint and went to stand up. A sharp, intense pain shot through your spine. Your vision got blurry as your head seemed to spin around, making you dizzy.
Loki held onto you tightly so you wouldn't fall over. "I got you." He steadied carefully.
Your vision came back slowly as you inched your way out of the medical wing, thanks to Loki. The two of you met at the Elevator with Thor.
"We'll take off from the balcony." Thor crossed his arms in front of him. "How are we getting to Asgard?" You asked, needing to catch your breath afterwards.
"The Bifrost is the only way to travel to and from the 9 realms." Loki explained before Thor had a chance to reply.
"Huh..?" You furrowed your eyebrows.
He rolled his eyes, "It's a rainbow bridge in the sky."
"Ohh.." You nodded, remembering seeing a 'Rainbow Bridge' in your Norse Mythology book.
Once you got off the elevator, the team was waiting for you patiently. Bruce was biting his nails nervously, Nat watched you pitifully as you tried to give her a little smile.
"Hey kid, get better okay." Tony put on a side smile as usual.
"Will do." You laughed, causing another strike of pain.
Loki could tell you'd been affected as he tightened his grip on you. "I'm okay Lohk." You smiled at his caring action. He loosened his grip, you could tell that he had that embarrassed expression that he always had on.
