Chapter 18 - 4th of July

"Loki......" you whined, banging on your door. After last night he claimed your room as his.

"If we're going to share a room you have to at least let me come in!" You put your head against the door.

Loki opened the door and your eyes immediantly connected as you looked up.

"Please come to the party!" You pleaded.

"I am not going to Stark's party." Loki sucked in his cheeks.

"But I'll be there with you! I won't let anything happen to you." You smiled, trying to convince him.

He stared at you with dark, solem eyes. Your heart started to twist and turn the more you looked at him. 'What is happening to me?' You looked away quickly and the feeling was gone.

"Alright. I'll come but only because you begged me." He sighed in defeat.

"Yess!" You jumped in the air out of excitement.

Loki rolled his eyes.

"Want to play Mario Kart?" He asked suddenly, smiling.

Oh, how could you resist that perfect childish smile?

"Sure!" You smiled back at him.

Most of the guests had already arrived by the time you were finished getting dressed. Thor had found out Loki was going to the party as well and took it upon himself to dress him up.

As for you, you decided to dress in a dark green satin dress. It was short, as it only came up to your thighs. It had noodle straps and shaped your curves perfectly.

Chatter and party noises could be heard from your bedroom.

Exiting the elevator, Nat and Pepper greeted you and fangirled over your outfit.

Tony met up with you and showed you around to other people. Many people were weary around you, considering you now had the reputation of a physcopath, but somehow that didn't bother you.

Once you managed to wiggle away from Tony you searched around for Loki.

"Looking for me darling?" Loki appeared behind you.

Startled, you jumped a little.

"Don't scare me like that!"

Loki didn't answer as he started staring at you.

"Earth to Loki! Or should I say Asgard?" You half joked.

He snapped out of his stare. "You.. look ravishing darling."

A smile crept upon your lips. Loki thought you looked ravishing! You could feel your cheeks start to blush.

You gave a shy giggle. "You look very handsome yourself."

Loki was wearing a black suit, with a white shirt and black tie.

Loki watched as you shuffled under his gaze shyly.

"Thank you darling. Now can we go somewhere quieter?" He asked looking at all the party-goers.

You nodded and linked your arm with his. You brought him over to the bar and grabbed a drink.

"Woah, no drinking." Loki snatched the drink from you.

Loki was so cute that he thought you were actually going to drink.

You laughed, "It's sparkling apple juice."

Loki froze in embarrassment. "O-oh sorry." He gave your drink back.
