16 - Regrets

Seokjin was going crazy looking around every corner for the bracelet taehyung gave him as a friendship gift

He don't know how he lost it, he's sure he was wearing it this morning...but then he now remembers he took it off because the girl name jisoo wanted to see it. As far as I he remembers she did have it back to him

The question is where did he put it actually after that? Suddenly Jungkook appeared out of nowhere

"You didn't left yet?"

"You're still here as well" jungkook gave him a confuse look when he saw Jin bending down and looking at different places "What are you doing?"

"I think I lost the bracelet taehyung gave me...I am unable to find it...taehyung will kill me if he finds out"

"Do you think he'll be angry?" Jin nodded still looking "I don't think so...he's not a type to get anger at such things...he wouldn't get angry instead he would be a little hurt but I doubt if he'll show it to you"

"Why are you talking about him like you know him better than anyone? I know it that he won't show but he sure will be angry a little..."

"Want me to help you finding it?"

Jin smiled "That'll be great if you do"

Jungkook helped Jin find it even though the bracelet was still nowhere to be found, just when he was near the art class he thought why would it be here? It can't be, I doubt if Jin even passed from here

But he was totally wrong, his eyes fell on one shining thing. He bend down and picked it from behind the dustbin with a little effort

When he observed the bracelet, he understood who it belongs to and why it is special

It was made of silver, it was written 'taejin' on It along with a heart next to it

And he also now understand why taehyung's eyes were on Jin's wrist when he saw him

He might have saw this, that's why he was sad? Did he thought that Jin threw it because of me?

"Did you find it?"

He immediately came back to reality and placed the bracelet in the pocket of his jacket instead of giving it to Jin

"Don't worry, you're just stressing yourself...if you talk to taehyung I am sure he'll understand"

Jin pouted "He was already mad at me this morning...what if he see it somewhere? He'll be so hurt..."

"I said don't worry!"

He pushed Jin ahead and dragged him outside the college, there were almost not one present

...

It was the next day, taehyung did his morning routine but with no interest at all

He went to college and was greeted by someone he didn't wanted to, he ignored him and walked straight but he was stopped

"Can we please talk for a minute?"

They both were at the rooftop alone, "Now tell me what is that you want to say? But first let me inform you if it's something stupid than I have no interest--'

"It's about Jin..." Yeah, you're right. This person is Jungkook

Taehyung furrowed his brows "Why did you came to me then?"

He picked something from his bag and gave it to taehyung who just stared at it "I think you misunderstood yesterday...you must have thought that Jin threw it because of me but you're wrong...

Yesterday, a girl from your class came to him when he was in the cafeteria. Her eyes went on the bracelet and she asked for it, she said that it's pretty and wants to see it

Jin hesitated but gave it to her so she can look, then from what Jin knows, she gave it back to him

But then it was found outside the art class, I don't know what she did and what she did not but I am positive that she placed it there on purpose so you would see it and misunderstand things

I think her name is jisoo, maybe she liked you or something. I don't know nor do I have interest in finding out about that but just to let you know...Jin was looking for it like crazy last night

When everyone had left, he was looking for it alone and he even said that he is sad and that, he misses you. I don't know it as well, why am I standing here and telling you all of this?

Well, hate me as much as you want but...don't ever hate Jin...he was sad knowing that fact that you're mad at him, I don't know the reason why you were but If it's me then...I am sorry, I didn't mean to.

Now that you know...go and make up with him, if you'll fight with him and will ignore him because of me don't forget than he'll only get closer to me

I am not threatening you nor I am warning you, just reminding you that...biggest regret comes from misunderstandings"

Tears filled in taehyung's eyes hearing his last words biggest regret...

A sentence jungkook said years ago...taehyung hates to admit it that he regrets it a lot...

A misunderstanding that was created between them both because of Taeyi or should I say taehyung...he knows there was no fault of jungkook in that

But he don't wants to admit it and keep wants to keep blaming the other thinking maybe this will be make him less guilty

He regrets not understanding jungkook at that time, he regrets all of it that it eats him inside to just think Jungkook's feelings

Jungkook glanced at taehyung one last time leaving him alone with all the regrets coming to him again

But I still fucking hate you Jungkook...I do...

Even if he don't, he keep wants to think that that he hate him while the truth is that deep inside he never hated him, he never did
