29 - Tear

Jungkook was in the hallway, he was taking his steps towards the lecture hall but he stopped when his eyes met with someone who has been in his mind for a long time and is making him confused

He emotions on his face was indescribable, he was sad, he was feeling alone, he was feeling guilty, he was hurt, he was feeling many more emotions at the same time making it even more Harder for him

He was thinking whether he should call him or not but when he was about to walk pass him, his name immediately slipped from his tongue

"Taehyung?"

His voice was low but still Tae heard it very clearly as he was right next to him. Tae looked over his shoulder, at jungkook with a expression that jungkook couldn't even know the meaning behind it

"Why? Do you want to tell me that "You loss and i won"? Yeah, you're right...I loss and you won! Congratulations! Are you now happy seeing Seokjin away from me? Ah...you must be..."

"Taehyung don't be stupid! Why can't you understand one thing that I never tried to wanted to challenge you about anything! I always thought about you as my own brother! I never intended-'

"It's enough! This much lies are enough! You don't need to prove anything to me after what you did to Tae Yi...I don't think there's something else that i need to know about you"

"Taehyung! About Tae Yi, it was--"

"What's the meaning of trying to make me understand things now? When you yourself said that you don't care anymore," he suddenly shouted "you said that you don't care if I hate you or not!"

Jungkook's eyes were teary as he looked in taehyung's but he couldn't find hate for him in them, it felt more like disappointment not hatred

Does it mean that Taehyung doesn't hate him anymore?

"Jungkook tell me! Tell me all of this is not true...it's all lies, right?"

Jungkook remained silent and he was not even looking at taehyung until tae shake him by his shoulder and he finally looked at him and his eyes told it that he was broken but seeing taehyung's state, he felt more than broken

His tears started to fall from his eyes like there's no tomorrow, it was the same for taehyung who was waiting for the younger to speak and deny all of it

"What if I won't explain anything to you...will you hate me as well?"

"You have to tell me to stop me from doing that..."

He fall on his knees but taehyung was still standing, both of their cries could be heard clearly

"It's okay...you can hate me as well...if you want...everyone do it...you can do it too...I don't care anymore..."

"W-what do you mean?"

"I can take it...don't worry"

"What?" He laughed a little in disbelief with tears "Are you saying that you literally did..." When Jungkook didn't said anything, tae held his arm and pulled him up making him stand on his feet "Just tell me that all of this are not true!"

Jungkook shouted "I said i don't care anymore, why don't you understand!?"

Taehyung let go of his arm, jungkook's tears had stopped but Taehyung's? It was falling like it will never stop

"I'll be grateful to you if you'll stop chasing after me"

Jungkook turned around and started to walk away with his head low

Taehyung just stood there and mumbled to himself  "It can't be true...you wouldn't do that to her...you loved her..."

That day both Jungkook and taehyung thought that it's better to part their ways, thought that thier is no more tear to fall but they were wrong

And they just got to know it...

"I said that...I did but I was wrong...whenever I see hate in your eyes for me I...It makes me wants to just go and hide somewhere where no one will be able to find me..."

His voice was low and shaky as a tear slipped from his eyes "But now...I no longer want to see that...I don't want to see hate in your eyes for me... I don't want to...I did my everything to be away from you so you won't have to experience this but..i can't take it anymore...please Taehyung believe me once..."

For a moment Taehyung just looked at him with teary eyes before letting out a soft sad chuckle "Do you remember anything what you said to me after Tae Yi died?"

Jungkook just looked down and said nothing "I guess you do so... stick to your words and don't make it hard for me than it already is"

Saying this he was about to walk away but Jungkook held his arm so tightly making him stop, he looked back at Jungkook

"Are you indirectly saying that you're going to give up on seokjin?"

Taehyung raised his brows at his Question "When did I said such a stupid thing?"

"I said indirectly...you said it yourself that I won and you losa"

"But I didnt said that I am going to let seokjin go, did I?"

"It's up to seokjin now, isn't it? He's the one to decide whether you should let him go or not--"

"Yeah, you're right! And if Seokjin choose you then I am no one to go against it, it's up to seokjin."

"So...you are going to let seokjin be with me?" Jungkook's voice was kind of like he was feeling proud and it made tae a little angry, he clenched his fist

"Nothing's decided Jungkook, don't feel so proud on yourself cause if you did something like what you did to Tae yi then I am going to kill you or else...I'll kill myself"

Without receiving any reply from Jungkook, taehyung pulled his arm out of his hold and started walking away
