【 Jungkook 】

As the first day of classes at your new university began the very next day, you now found yourself stood outside of the University's C building; looking around the busy campus grounds whilst trying to reassure yourself that this was going the be the start of something new and hopefully better.

So after letting out a soft sigh in an attempt to shake off some anxious nerves, you slowly began making your way inside— hoping to possibly find some type of a map on the inside that could help you locate your department and the lecture halls you needed to find today

While you had come to learn your major shares the building alongside the music-, art-, dance- and architect majors; which of course helped narrow down your search a bit, it was still going to be quite the challenge to find your way around at first.

It didn't take long before you eventually gave up on trying to find a map to figure out the layout of the building by yourself, knowing you most definitely would end up late to your very first lecture if you didn't find your way there soon— and considering the halls were littered with students, your best option now was naturally to ask someone for help before you got lost.

And so after looking around for a bit, you finally mustered up the courage to approach one of the students sitting at one of the study areas not too far away from where you currently were stood, bowing lightly in a respectful manner before speaking up

Jungkook: Hello I'm sorry for interrupting you sunbae-nim, I was just wondering if you know which way the Film&Photography department is?

He slowly raised his head upon having heard your voice— instantly letting the corners of his lips tug into a gentle smile as he nodded before gesturing towards the four lines painted on the ground not too far away

Student: Oh yes of course, if you just follow the blue line over there it'll take you to the area where your major usually hangs around! I'm guessing you're a newbie here, though I don't remember seeing you when we showed the 1st years around?

You awkwardly scratched the back of your neck as you let out a breathy giggle

Jungkook: I'm actually on my second year, but I'm a transfer student so that should explain it. Anyway, thank you for the help sunbae!

After politely bidding goodbye and respectfully bowing, you began walking in the direction he had pointed at, though you couldn't help but sigh as you quietly mumbled under your breath

Jungkook: Would've been helpful advice if I was able to see colors...

Nonetheless, you kept walking as you tried your best to find the lecture hall you had been looking for, all whilst probably looking even more lost than the first years were. Though eventually, you did finally manage to find your way to the lecture hall by dumb luck— barely making it in time of course, but you made it nonetheless.

| Some hours later...

Thankfully you only had 3 lectures to attend today since the professors wanted everyone to ease back into things, so once the professor dismissed the last lecture you gathered up all your things and began making your way down the busy hall to head back to the dormitory.

However, you weren't necessarily in a hurry to head back home, as you wanted to take your time admiring the architecture and design of the building for a while longer— not to mention the stunning artworks and sculptures that could be found here and there which were made by the art majors.

Even though you weren't able to see any colors, you could tell it looked absolutely stunning. Though as you began walking again, letting your gaze travel back towards the busy crowds of students in front of you— your usually colorless and dull world suddenly began changing as everything around you seemed to change and become... Colorful?

The sudden change made you immediately come to a drastic halt from shock and utter disbelief, though the moment was short-lived as those unfamiliar colors ended up fading and disappearing just as fast as they had come to you— making your world return back to the colorless one it always had been.

Jungkook: Woah... Was that-...?

Admittedly you internally wished the colors had stayed a while longer, as the newfound beauty of the world which you didn't get enough time to admire had made your heart flutter with excitement and curiosity.

However, soon the shock and amazement faded and instead got replaced with an alarming feeling in your gut after finally realizing that this had meant you unknowingly made eye contact with your so-called probe— even more specifically, the fact that the said probe seemed to go to the same University as you... Oh, you were doomed.

Once you managed to somewhat pull yourself together, you finally resumed your walk back to the dormitory building. Though admittedly a small part of you was fighting the urge to turn go back and try to find out just who the person could've been; if they were still there.

But realistically you knew that wasn't a good idea— rather, it was quite the opposite. Would it really be worth the risk of potentially ruining the little chance you had left in making the rest of your University life bearable until you graduate? No.

Heck, what were you even going to say if you did find them?

''Hello, you don't know me but I am a Mono and you are my destined Probe''
- Yeah as if that wouldn't freak the fuck out of them...

You shook your head and headed into the dormitory building, swiftly making your way up and over to your dorm before typing in the doors passcode, trying to shake off the last bits of curiosity you had left to see the colors again.

Once you opened the door, you raised your eyebrows in surprise as you were met with two figures standing in the living room talking to each other, and upon seeing you they smiled brightly and greeted you as you walked inside

Hoseok: Oh you're our roommate right? Nice to meet you, I'm Jung Hoseok and I'm a dance major!

Yoongi: And my name is Min Yoongi, I'm majoring in music production

You swiftly took off your shoes and put on your slippers before bowing respectfully as you greeted them back

Jungkook: Nice to finally meet you guys too, my name is Jeon Jungkook and I major in Film & Photography

Yoongi smiled as he patted your shoulder in a friendly manner

Yoongi: We saw you had left us a bag each containing some snacks and drinks, thank you for that Jungkook-ah we really appreciated it!

Hoseok: And you even managed to make this place look so cozy and clean, I hope you don't mind we did some grocery shopping for us all to make up for all the work you had to do alone here!

A warm smile painted your lips as you shook your head, feeling happy to see how kind and friendly your roommates were— instantly having a good feeling that the three of you would be able to become good friends in the near future.

Jungkook: Oh please I didn't do much hyung! But that's great, I was planning on going grocery shopping today but this means I no longer have to do that!

Yoongi: How about we cook something together for dinner and get to know each other better? Oh and I also brought some board games which might be fun to play together later on!

Hoseok and you both nodded in agreement, and the three of you then instantly began to plan the activities for the rest of the day— all feeling equally as excited to get to know each other and most importantly have fun together.

Even though you barely had been here for 2 days, you had already made more good memories and friends than the year before at your old Uni.

- Needless to say, you almost dared to feel certain that the next 3 years were going to be amazing.
