The gentle sound of the tree branches swaying to the wind accompanied by the sound of busy streets and traffic outside could be heard through the opened balcony doors of your dorm; a soft hum softly emitting past your lips while you attentively read through the section Taehyung had wanted your help in, soon beginning to explain it to him once you understood it

Jungkook: —and so basically, it's a similar process to the one we learned before, except here you'll just—...

You raised your gaze as you were nearing the end of your explanation, only to halt in your words after noticing how he didn't seem to be paying attention to you what's soever— instantly earning a mildly frustrated glare from you as you gently hit his back with the textbook you were holding

Jungkook: Yah, were you even listening to me? Why did you make me explain this to you if you're just going to—

He suddenly tilted your chin upwards before leaning over and pecking your lips to stop you from scolding him; slowly pulling away and smirking proudly as he saw the bewildered look on your face accompanied by the soft blush spreading across your cheeks— his smirk soon morphing into an innocent grin while he calmly moved away knowing his apparent plan succeeded. Nonetheless, you eventually snapped out of your little trance before rolling your eyes and crossing your arms, hissing lightly at him as you poutily spoke up

Jungkook: Come on can you try to be serious Kim?

Taehyung: Let's just take a break, we've studied diligently for nearly 2 hours straight now Jeon

The older gently nudged your side, and so a soft sigh left your lips before you nodded in defeat while placing down the textbook onto the living rooms coffee table, uttering out a warning ''Okay, but I'll kill you if you try any funny business today, my lower back is still sore'' which instantly earned a smirk from Taehyung as he playfully winked at you

Taehyung: Awh what a shame, but roger that boss

This action of course earned another eye roll from you followed by a quiet giggle as you got up from your seat— feeling how he teasingly smacked your bum which only made another giggle escape past your lips whilst playfully throwing a pillow his way

Jungkook: I'll make myself some coffee, do you want some too?

Upon receiving a confirming hum from the older whom picked up his phone to begin scrolling through it, you started preparing two cups of coffee which hopefully would help re-energize you both a little bit. Soon Taehyung's warm laugh could be heard as he simultaneously got up from his seat to approach you, showing a picture from his social media as he spoke nostalgically

Taehyung: Yo Gguk take a look at this— did your old Uni also have these themed photo backgrounds and props? I feel like nearly every Uni had this theme for their school dance last year!

You glanced at the photo he was showing you which displayed an arguably cliché star and moon theme— yet this one seemed to have been executed quite prettily with the amount of effort into detail and lighting that obviously had been put into it, nonetheless, you shrugged softly as you focused your gaze back onto making the drinks

Jungkook: Well I wouldn't know, but it looks pretty— can you fill these cups with ice for us?

Immediately upon hearing your response, the older frowned as he gave you a puzzled look whilst letting out a breathy chuckle

Taehyung: What do you mean you wouldn't know, every Uni has a school dance annually Jeon. Why— jealous we had a prettier location than you, hm?
