When you reached up to remove the fabric which currently was obstructing your vision, Taehyung swiftly reached over and gently grabbed ahold of your wrist— stopping you from removing the mask while uttering out a soft ''Wait don't remove it yet, I want to show you something''; instantly making soft giggle bubble past your lips as you felt the warmth of his body leave your side

Jungkook: How am I supposed to see anything with this covering my eyes dummy?

This earned a breathy chuckle out of the older whom hushed you while helping you out of bed, carefully beginning to guide you somewhere slowly as he protectively held you to make sure you didn't bump into anything on your way there

Taehyung: Just hush and trust me, you'll see what I mean soon.

You couldn't help but hiss out softly in a suspicious tone, not trusting his odd behavior or what he possibly could show you in your very own dormitory

Jungkook: Kim Taehyung if you dare pull a prank on me right now you're dead.

Another amused snicker left his lips as he hummed softly; not giving an answer to your statement which only fueled your suspicions further, and once you came to a halt you tried to blindly scurry out of his hold, still not trusting his mysterious behavior and unknown intentions

Jungkook: I swear if you took me somewhere that people can see me I will—

However, Taehyung swiftly wrapped his arms around you from behind to keep you in place, not letting you escape from his firm hold as he chuckled softly once again at your silly accusation

Taehyung: No I didn't, just stay still and look ahead for me

Even though you were hesitant, you obediently stayed still while he gently removed the blindfold— giving your eyes some time to adjust to the light again as you noticed you were standing in front of the bathroom mirror

Jugnkook: Huh— why did you bring me here—

Just as your eyes met his through the mirror, your otherwise monotone world once again began to fill with ravishing colors, and he smiled warmly while gently guiding you to look back at yourself

Taehyung: Look at your eyes, quickly— the effect only lasts for 5 seconds

Once you looked at yourself through the mirror's reflection, you widened your eyes in surprise seeing the way your eyes had a very gentle rainbow swirl in them which you so far only ever had heard Taehyung describe

And you couldn't help but watch it in admiration whilst Taehyung kissed the crook of your neck, gently resting his chin on your shoulder whilst keeping his eyes on you as he smiled proudly, not letting go from the warm back hug he still had you secured in

Jungkook: Woah— do my eyes always do this when you look at me?

Taehyung: Mhm, whenever the previous effect has disappeared and we lock eyes again, it'll appear this way

You silently admired the magical look you never thought you'd be able to see for yourself, smiling as Taehyung whispered out a soft ''Pretty right?'' which you slowly nodded to in agreement

Sadly the effect did fade after 5 seconds as he had mentioned, however, a warm smile continued to linger on your lips as you turned around in his hold before looking up into his eyes once again— an undeniably bubbly feeling filling up your chest making yet another soft giggle escape your lips as you spoke to him in a timid manner

Jungkook: Thank you... For showing me this hyung

He playfully proceeded to tickle your sides a little which instantly made your nose momentarily scrunch up cutely as you squirmed in his hold, only to nod reassuringly while he returned the same warm smile you were showing him
