Despite the chilly evening breeze outside, the walk back home still managed to feel warm and cozy as the two of you held hands, fingers intertwining intimately as your hands gently swung back and forth when you walked. The comfortable silence between you both soon being broken as the older male suddenly huffed and pouted lightly, kicking some stones on the ground below his feet whilst grumbling softly under his breath in a grumpy manner

Taehyung: I should've punched Mingyu when I had the chance... Bastard got to go on a date with my boyfriend. That was supposed to be my spot, not his...!

A bubbly giggle left your lips whilst you glanced up at him, finding his evidently jealous statement rather adorable as you nudged his side gently

Jungkook: Oh hush, why be all jealous over that when you get to go on many more dates with me from now on?

Upon hearing your words, a bright smile momentarily painted his lips at the mention of many more dates happening in the future— however, the smile was soon replaced by another subtle pout as he yet again spoke up in a sullen manner

Taehyung: Not to mention— I should be the one walking you home right now, not the other way around!

An amused giggle left your lips as you stopped in your tracks and looked up at the male, giving him an ''Are you serious'' look before flicking his forehead lightly; earning a soft wince from the older which shortly was followed by a breathy chuckle

Jungkook: Oh don't be such a pouty bear now, your apartment is the closest to us from where we are. Besides, can't I be the one to walk you home sometimes idiot?

He mumbled out a soft ''Fair point'' whilst letting go of your hand— only to wrap his arms around your waist protectively whilst humming softly— admiringly gazing into your eyes while speaking in a teasing manner as he playfully nudged your chin upwards

Taehyung: Oh right, isn't it about time you tried to give me a more intimate pet name now that we're together hm? I'm all for my boyfriend's bratty and sharp tongue, but I sure am curious how it would sound~

You hummed softly as you thought for a moment, biting back the playful grin on your lips as an idea popped into your mind before you spoke in a teasing way— purposely letting the pet names that came to mind roll off your tongue in a cutesy manner as you tilted your head sweetly

Jungkook: Like what? ...My Taebear?~ Or... Buttercup, Darling, Bub, Sweetie, Pumpkin?~

The both of you scrunched your noses and visibly cringed at the fairly common pet names you had listed, none of which felt like they belonged, making the both of you burst into a fit of warm laughter whilst he pulled you into a comforting hug and whispered into your ear lovingly yet with a hint of some teasing

Taehyung: You know what, on second thought I'd prefer it if you didn't call me any of those~

A hum left your lips as you rested your head against his chest, letting your eyes close whilst you thought for a moment before pulling away from the hug as you looked up at him— feeling your heart flutter happily as you gently called out what had always felt right between you both, what somehow always had an intimate feeling when it left the lips of the right person

Jungkook: Hyung... I love you~

This instantly made Taehyung bite back a warm smile as his cheeks flushed a subtle pink, clearly also loving the sound of it just as much as you did while he leaned down and placed a loving kiss on your lips
