As you were awoken from yet another sleepless night, you couldn't help but softly whimper and stir in bed, tiredly scurrying to turn off the annoyingly loud alarm clock with a loud sigh escaping past your lips

The dreadful realization that you were going to have to face Taehyung today and present the assignment together with him instantly made you want to crawl 5 feet under. And whilst the thought of taking yet another day off felt ever so intriguing, especially after not having slept a blink last night, you sadly knew you absolutely could not be absent today unless you wanted to get a bad grade on the assignment the two of you had put so much hard work into

And so after a long internal fight, you eventually managed to drag yourself out of bed to go get ready for the dreadful day ahead of you.

- Sadly there would be no escaping it in the end, so let's get it over with while the wound is still fresh.

The slightly chill morning air made a slight shiver run down your spine as you walked through campus grounds with slow and hesitant steps— nearly dragging your feet as you made your way inside the building and towards the lecture hall, only to come to an abrupt halt as a sudden yet very powerful nauseating dizzy spell seemed to wash over you; all thanks to the unwanted memories which rapidly began flowing in from that time when the others at your old University had found out about you being a mono, earning a shaky breath out of you as you had to hold on to a nearby wall in order to keep yourself from collapsing

Hands trembling while the sound of your heartbeat echoed in your pulsating head, heck maybe it was the severe lack of sleep that finally was getting to you, or maybe the fear of the past repeating itself terrified you a lot more than you might've realized...

Either way, you knew you had to pull yourself together and face the dreadful reality sooner or later— so after giving yourself some time to pull yourself together and mentally prepare to be met by those oh-so-familiar glares of disgust and discomfort again, you finally nodded to yourself before slowly making your way into the lecture hall

However, to your relief, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary as you scurried to find yourself an empty seat in the far back whilst everyone else was busy chatting with each other.

Seems Taehyung had kept your secret, at least for now...
Though you didn't dare to trust it'd be able to remain a secret.

Speaking of the devil, the said male soon walked into the lecture hall with his friends, softly chuckling at some silly joke that had been made, only for his smile to stiffen as you accidentally happened to lock eyes with each other

You couldn't help but curse softly under your breath as the faint color vision momentarily began to appear, only to disappear just as quickly when the two of you immediately broke the eye contact— your gaze now instead burying itself down onto the textbook in front of you whilst Taehyung awkwardly looked away and silently took his seat next to his friends up front.

- Oh how you wish this day would be over soon...

As the lecture eventually began, so did the paired assignment presentations; one pair at a time got called down to present their piece to the class before then getting to explain their message and thought process of why they had chosen to portray it the way they did.

And so when the professor eventually called down both of your names as the final pair, you sucked in a hitched breath before getting out of your seat to go joined Taehyung down at the front of the lecture hall, silently watching as Taehyung connected his laptop to the projector before showing the short film the two of you had made together.
