Chapter 3: LEVI SQUAD

The scene shows Eren, Oswald, and Levi Squad on horseback. After getting custody of Eren, the scouts were heading out to an old Survey Corps base, which was an old castle that was renovated. As they rode, Oluo was talking to Eren. He explained how it used to be the primary base for the scouts when they were first formed, but over time, they ultimately just kept it for a decoration as it was too far out from the walls and rivers.

Oluo was then trying to warn Eren about if he does one wrong move, then he's dead. But, the threat was short-lived as he bit his tongue due to his horse tripping on a rock.

Zen Aku: dumbass.

Oswald's Thoughts: he does that a lot.

They arrive to their new/old home and were chatting about the stunt that happened.

Oluo: (bandage on tongue) ouch.

Petra: (helps Oswald off his horse) that's what you get for yapping your mouth like that.

Oluo: first impressions are crucial. That recruit was scared stiff. But regardless, everything went exactly as planned.

Oswald: (confused) why are you talking like Levi?

Petra: yeah, you should stop it, cause you're embarrassing yourself.

Oluo: are you both trying to talk me down? That not the proper steps to act as my wife, Petra. And, I don't need to be bossed around by a little runt.

Oswald: I'm not little!

Petra: (annoyed) if only you had bitten off your tongue and bled out.

With the others, they were looking around the castle and noticed the grounds.

Gunther: look at all these weeds. This place has gone to hell.

Eld: it's been abandon for years. Bet the inside has gone to shambles.

Levi: in which case we have a problem, don't we? Best grab a broom and get to work.

Not a few minutes later, everyone was sweeping and dusting both the outside and inside of the castle. As Levi was done cleaning one room, Eren entered in.

Eren: I'm done with the upstairs, sir. If uh, if I may ask, where will I be expected to sleep?

Levi: (pulls mask down) your sleeping quarters are in the basement.

Eren: again?

Levi: it's our safest option since you don't have full control of your Titan abilities. One of the conditions of you under my watch in the first place is for you to be under strict security during the morning, noon, and night. While we're in dreamland, you'll be in restraints. (Beat) I'll go check your work. Take over here, I want it spotless.

Eren: yes sir.

He exits and Eren was a bit bummed after hearing the way he spoke. Petra notices this, and decided to talk with him.

Petra: oh Eren, try not to look so discouraged.

Eren: huh? Oh, no, it's not that. Did I really look like that?

Petra: that's how everyone reacts at first. Up close and personal, Captain Levi doesn't act much like the hero he's cracked up to be. He's a bit temperamental, and not really embed with the social graces. Although, that's changed a little since Oswald came here.

Eren: about that, why is Oswald here with the scouts? Is it because of his powers?

Petra: no, we didn't know about that until Trost. A couple months ago during an expedition, we found him as he was surrounded by titans. Poor thing was badly injured, and was almost killed before the captain saved him. After we brought him back, we realized he has PTSD, and I didn't want to leave him with the refugees or the MPs. So, I convinced the commander to let me look after him.
