"Throughout the world, cultures have viewed animals as spiritual meanings. The wolf, in particular, has been seen as both a protector and a predator. Some people see wolves as defenders who protect the people, souls that are intelligent, and leaders who guide the pack to a brighter future. Others view a wolf as a sign of death and evil. If a wolf was spotted at your farmlands, it's a sign that your land and live stock would die. At this moment, though... the wolf was representing both meanings. To its people, it was protecting its pack from others. And to its enemy... Death was approaching them."
*BANG! (x12)*
The scene picks up where we left off by showing the Wolf Titan Army and the Rumbling making their way on the land. Multiple ships fired at them, but all the shots failed as they took the hits and kept walking. That's all they were really doing. Walking. The Wolves did attack earlier, but are now joining the Colossi in the march and just walked side by side.
They marched on, destroying many lands and leaving nothing but footprints, debris, and smears of blood on the ground. Everyone was running for their lives from these giants, but it all proved futile as countless people got crushed by giant feet. And, those that didn't get stepped on in the titans' path, were burned to death due to the scorching heat from the Colossal Titans.
No one far from the island of Paradis was safe. It didn't matter how far they ran or what mode of transport they used. In the end, they were all going to die from these monsters. But despite this, despite the unavoidable demise, despite the desire to live, and despite the struggles of surviving, even if people were saving a baby that wasn't even theirs, many were asking "Why are we being punished?" "Why is this destruction falling upon us?" And "What could've been done to have prevented this?" The answer was just very simple:
This world is cruel, and shall treat those who live in it with cruelty.
From the army of titans, Eren's large Founding Titan moved above them with Fenrir not too far from him. As he walks, Eren couldn't help but feel content with this.
Eren: It's just as you promised, Havi.
*FOUR YEARS AGO*
The day after the award ceremony on reclaiming Wall Maria, Eren started having dreams of a strange land with people not of his world. He didn't know it, but he was dreaming of Asgard. In one dream, he was standing alone with no one else and he just looked out to the city.
Eren: This place... It's nothing like the Coordinate. I've never been here before, and yet... It feels so familiar.
???: In a way, you were here before.
The voice surprised him, and Eren turns around and sees an old man with one eye and a cloak.
???: This is my home.
Eren: Who are you?
Havi: Forgive my lack of introductions. My name is Havi. Although, to you, I'm you in a past life.
