No one can touch my kids

Maithili's POV

Hospital

My shoulder and back is aching like hell, it was 7 hour successful surgery. Now I just wanna go home and sleep. I checked my desk clock and its 4:40. So I thought of picking Rudra and Rudhi on the way to home and have dinner out and that's all will be for day. But my plan got fall flat by one call ring. Its Priya "Maithili come to school, kids got into trouble". "What's wrong ? Are they okay ? " was the only thing I thought and asked the same. 

"No , You should come fast. " she said and my worries fumed up. "I will be there in 15 min Priya, till then manage." and I rushed after changing my scrubs to knee length pencil skirt and blouse. I reached as soon as possible and strided towards main office of school where Priya called me. When I reached my eyes were bewildered by seeing Rudhi's red and puffy eyes controlling her cry which was trying to leave her eyes anytime soon. And Rudra was fuming with anger fisting and controlling his outburst. But what made me lose my sense was his left cheek was bruised and split lips. 

"What happened here? " my voice boomed in the office and there was shock in everyone's face hearing the sudden loud voice. "Your kid hit my child" lady came in front of me with the boy hiding behind her. "Rudra did you hit him ?" was only thing I asked him which led to Rudhi cry out loud and Rudra saw me with disbelief. I sighed out loud . "Okk, so what do you want to do now ma'am?" I asked her while taking my eyes from my kids to her with my calm tone. Priya knew I was just controlling myself. "What's there to do, I just made you come here to say that I am filing a case on your kid, I husband is a officer in NYPD. I can sue you as well your kid". I lost here.

"Is that so ma'am, then lets do this. Call your husband to file a case or I myself will call police here" I shouted on her face, which made her flinch but she maintained her composure soon. "Mrs. Lily you are their homeroom teacher right? Can you lead me to the security room? I wanna see the cctv footage, what exactly had happened? " I glanced at my kids and asked Mrs. Lily. "What is there to see in footage its but obvious, my sons face is all blue green" she pointed to her son. But he didn't say anything. "Ma'am, why you are not calling police, You are going to sue me right ? Please go ahead." 

With that I followed Mrs. Lily to check the footage and within 5 min of searching, they found the footage. And till that one man came in in police uniform. I think its that child's father aka that woman's officer husband. We saw the footage and it was clear that their kid was saying something to Rudhi for which Rudra came forward and made her hide behind him . then their child started to punch Rudra but Rudra tried to calm him but he lost his control and started to fight. 

But something was off. that kid only punched him on stomach an not on him face then how there was bruises on his face. Maithili turned to them and "So now, what do you wanna say ma'am? Your kid was the one who started everything. " She got silent and lowered her face not able to face me. "I am sorry Miss. Maithili. I am apologising in behalf of my wife and kid , I will pay for lose " her officer husband bowed and apologised me. I just nodded and started to leave . But I stopped and said them to go ahead . Priya was with kids in office consoling my Rudhi . Mrs. Lily stayed with me . I said them to show the office footage after this scene. 

But the thing I saw there made my blood boil. After seeing that I took long strides to office where all where already present . I stood in front of that lady and slapped her without warning. Which made her fall on floor with thud. Her husband looked at me with surprise and was about  to say something but I stopped him gesturing him to stop with my hands while still looking at her. "Mr. Rock , if you wanna sue me for this then please go ahead, but no one can touch my kids so how dare she slap my Rudra!!" I was shivering with anger. He too was surprised with this piece of information. He again apologised for her behaviour and left from there.

I took Rudra and Rudhi to infirmary and cleaned Rudra's wounds and kissed their forehead. "I thought you just trusted them and was going to blame us for this ruckus" Rudra said with low voice. "Why would I? Who are they? I can never mistrust you both , the only people I trust the most is you two, So never ever judge me babies 😘" I said them assuring and kissing on their cheeks one by one. "Yuckkss mom, don't kiss me I am a big boy now, you should not do that." he said wiping his cheek. "Yes mom , don't kiss him . You can kiss me more as of his share.." Rudhi said pointing her another cheek for kiss. "NOooooo , Don't , You can kiss me mom.. I allow you to kiss me" Rudra shouted out. It made me chuckle. 

"Tch tch tch , You mom and two devils can never stop romancing right? " Priya said nodding her head while leaning on door frame. "Lets go, We will have a dinner out today" I raised and tried to cheer them up. "yaa okk.. But first I wanna know why you two fought?" Priya asked Rudra with straight face. She is sometimes strict with them because I can't get angry on them, because of my motherly emotions. "Rudra you should say them the truth "Rudhi poked her fingers on his shoulder.

"Actually Mom and Ammo, Ronald was speaking very ill to Rudhi, about her child modelling, like its so cheap and many things , so i just tried to make him understand that he is hurting Rudhi, But then he started to talk about you mom , that you are not a good person , so I lost at last and punched him.  " This made my eyes watery ."You did well Rudra, Your mom and Ammo are proud of you both. Now lets go , have some fun. Dinner is on Mom and Desert is on your Ammo" Priya cheered them up and we had our rest of day full o blast.
