Arjun's POV

Delhi

I shifted to Delhi with Prerna for my baby's surgery. Dr. Maithili is somewhat a stubborn type of lady. I mean why someone will choose 2nd popular hospital than top most hospital. But I don't want to fight against her, I don't want to upset her, she have to operate my angel.

I am staying with my family, Pratap uncle, dad's younger brother, his children Pakhi and Aarav, Aarav is pediatrician , Prerna's doc and Pakhi is a fashion designer. Pratap uncle don't talk to me after my first divorce, he loved her like his own daughter and Pakhi too loved her calling her bestie, but Pakhi started to hate her after my divorce. Aarav was in Germany when I was married and divorced so he didn't have any bond with my first wife. Uncle doesn't talk to me till now but for Prerna's sake he allowed me to come home. 

I was sitting in the study room thinking about my life which took twists and turns when Aarav knocked and asked to join me. I signed him to come in and sit in front chair. 

Aarav: "Did you talk to that cardiologist? I heard she take the case only after studying the case thoroughly"

Arjun: sighed* "No. Not yet . She will be joining in two days , I will talk to her personally , I can pay her 100 times more if she wants."

Aarav: "Yaa I know bro. But I heard she is not a greedy and money making type of Doctor."

Arjun: "Yess Aarav. You know what, I offered her 40% hike for her salary , but she specified for 30% percent hike which is reasonable, She had only simple conditions like she want to work in Delhi, wants to be chief of cardiology dept, which is also reasonable. Now I am excited to meet her." 

Aarav: "Ohhh ohhh bro, Are you thinking of flirting with her? You can't do that."

Arjun: frowned*"No Aarav , I don't want to flirt with anyone, but wait a minute, why can't I?"

Aarav: "Bro actually, one of my friend was her colleague in same hospital, he used to praise her like she is some sort of goddess and she have some magical hands and beautiful too, so I have grown some crush on her even though I never saw her. " He said with shy sheepy smile.

Arjun:"Ohh Ok Okk. You can do anything you want I just want my angel to be fit and fine, and my last hope is her. "

We left to our room after some chat and I went to Prerna and found her snuggling to on plushy. I kissed her head when my mobile started to vibrate from pocket. it was my PA Rishi, I picked up where Rishi told about one conference meeting which is a urgent and I must attended it tomorrow. He also told that each and every doctors will be there to attend it. 

I agreed to attend and thought for sometime and again called Rishi to inform admin office to invite Dr. Maithili to the conference, so that we can introduce her to others and can talk to her officially. He said he will do the same and ended the call . I texted Aarav and said about his dream girl will be coming tomorrow. He sent me kiss emoji😘.  He is sometimes cute. 

Next morning I got ready with my normal suit and left to hospital. 

When I reached my PA took me to my cabin which was normal and similarly designed as in Mumbai. I asked him about Dr. Maithili's response for invitation and he said that she accepted and will attend the conference at sharp 11:30 am. Now I was really tensed as I was worried that will she accept my Prerna's case or not.

Then it struck 11:25, I left office with Rishi and we waited for elevator, my Cabin was in 5th floor and conference room was in 7th floor. then in 2min lift dinged and opened. the scene we saw was really shocking. Man was croaching holding his groin and crying then my eyes fell on her. 

Maithili!!

Oh my god!! 

That's not possible, she was my Mithi..

Stupid she is not yours you left her. 

Wait . Why is looking so beautiful.

Ofcoarse, she is grown up now, then she was small, tiny only 17 . 

She has grown into beautiful woman now.

Wait a minute. What is she doing here. I was staring at her with my wide open mouth. 

She was also staring at me. Now I gained my concious, "What happened here? " I asked snapping at once, Rishi helped that man and took him with him. Now I was left with her , she came forward and stepped out of the elevator. 

Maithili: "Hello, Mr. Arjun Rathore."

Arjun: "What are you doing here Mithi?" That was only thing my brain was thinking and same came out of my mouth.

Maithili: "Its Dr. Maithili , Mr. Rathore."

Arjun: shocked* " What , you are Dr. Maithili? Don't joke around Mithi"

But why would she joke around, she is right. Then I maintained myself and extended my hand for shaking while checking her face. She was wearing makeup but it was minimal, She was wearing white formal suit , which was short  and sleeveless showing her legs. All cute and sexy. 

She took my hands in her hand and shook it formally, It was very stern shake. But I noticed , her hand was cold, very cold. Her expression which I can't guess, what was that for. 

By that time Rishi came and introduced himself, for which she gave a very sweet genuine smile to him. He escorted us in conference room, I took from chair in stage and sat in the back seat of the hall. 

The conference was going on but my whole thought was on Mithi and my eyes where also on her. She was least interested in this topic , it was about hospital politics. She was busy with her mobile, like chatting on her mobile. That disturbed me, I don't know why? Whom she was texting ?

At last the conference was over. I seriously don't know what did they come up with the solution or what was exact problem . My solution and problem both was sitting in front of me in back seat.
