chapter 21

MATTHEWS POV

It's been weeks since I've talked to Jessie or Zach. Jared has been hiding from me afraid that I'll beat him to death. Jay has been the only friend I've had lately other than the guardians.

"Matthew what's wrong" ask Alex. I had almost forgotten that we were lying down in my bed.

"Nothing. I'm just thinking about everything that's been going on lately" I say fighting off tears. I know he can tell I'm lying. He kisses my head.

"Don't think so much of it in about a year and a half you'll be saving the world" he says with a laugh. I chuckle.

I hear my mom walk through the front door and we disappear. We reappear in Heaven.

"Are you ever going to actually interact with her" he asks.

"Well let's see I went my entire life without doing it.....so no" I say.

"Listen I understand that you to haven't always seen eye to eye but, trust me she cares about you and one day she'll be gone and there's no turning back" he says trying to persuade me.

"Thats the plan" I say with a slight chuckle. I kiss his cheek and walk over to his bed and lay down. He lays next to me.

I look into his brown eyes. The light gleaming in them. A strand of his dark brown hair falls onto his forehead. I move it with my finger back into its original spot.

I cup his face in my hand. He smiles. I love It when he smiles like that. It makes me happy to see him happy.

"I love you Alex" I say. He stands up and walks over to the oak wood desk and pulls something out of a drawer but I can't see what it is. He walks back. I'm now standing.

He gets down on one knee and pulls a black box from behind is back.

I cover my mouth and nose with my hands.

"Matthew James Harrison" he pauses." Will you make me the happiest man in the world by doing me the honors of having you as my husband. Will yo marry me" he chokes on the words with tears of joy filling his eyes.

"Yes Alex I will" I cry tackling him.

Hey you guys I'm soo sooooo so sorry that this chapter took so long to put up and yet it's so short ,but my phone got smashed in the car door and I had to wait for a new phone to update. Anyways again I'm sorry that it's so short it's just a filler.
