MATTHEW POV

"You're scared" Michael asks. I nod.

"I haven't ever been to Heaven every time I ask Alex to take me he says no then comes up with an excuse" I say shakily.

"Don't be scared. And Alex said that stuff because it's true. Angels can't lie. Remember we have to embody or at least try to embody perfection" he explains.

"So what's gonna happen to me" I ask.

"Well you have to take an oath then you're given your powers. You will also be meeting your partner Penelope" he explains. I mainly focused on the fact that he said powers.

"Powers" I ask in sever confusion.

"Yes you will have the powers of an archangel and more. Such as the kiss of life, flying, coming to and from Heaven" he explains. I nod. We arrive at the palace and I gasp in amaze meant.

"Hello" I hear a deep voice say from the stairs above me.

"Hi, who are you" I ask.

"I'm God. And you're Matthew the divinity boy for the Heaven side" he says shaking my. I want to scream right now I just had skin to skin contact with God.

"So what do I have to do" I ask.

"Follow me" he says motioning me towards the stairs.

"Dang I don't even get to go up there" I hear Michael says as I'm walking up the steps. I chuckle.

"Sit here" he says pointing at a chair. He pulls out a syringe with a bright yellow liquid in it.

He presses the needle to my skin. My adrenaline starts pumping. My heart rate rises.

"What's that gonna do to me" I blurt out.

"It's going to half kill you" he says. My eyes widen then the room goes dark.

I feel my body tensing then relaxing. My head throbs with the beating of my heart. The light in the room is extremely bright and blinding. I see two figures.

"Hi"i hear a soft voice say" I'm Penelope. But you can call me penny"

"Matthew" I hear Alex say. I feel his hands cup my face and he kisses me. I grunt.

"Well I love you too" I hear him say. I blink to clear my vision. But it won't clear where are my contacts. Wait I had those in this morning. Maybe I'm blind. I scream.

"Why can't I see. Alex I'm blind" I cry.

"Try putting these on" Penelope says. She shoves my glasses onto my face everything is suddenly clear.

"Yay, I'm not blind" I cheer. I look over at Penelope. She pretty.

She has long jet black hair. She's thin. She has a light tan. Her eyes are a beautiful blue.

"Hi" I say "I'm Matthew."

I put my hand to shake hers but I catch something on my shoulder out of the corner of my eye.

It's a symbol that looks like Alex's but has a line which I'm guessing resembles a halo. It's also surrounded by a circle with lines that very in size coming off it. I'm guess that resembles the light if purity.

"It's the symbol of the angelic divinity" Penelope explain guessing that I need the help figuring out what the heck was wait did I say heck. I always say he--he--hell. Why can't I even think the word. Dang it I forgot I'm pure now fudge. Okay this will take a while to get used to.

"Where's god I need to talk to him" I say frantically.
