MATTHEW'S POV
"Wait so Jason is your cousin" I ask Jay in complete and utter confusion. He nods. I look at Alex. Tears are filling his eyes at the thought of Jason. I go to embrace him but Jay beats me to it. I get the urge to beat him for taking my moment but then all four of the guardians shot me a look.
"What" I ask. Alex looking at me with disappointment. Kat smirking. Apollo and Mars ready to jump me.
"What he's my man" I exclaim. Alex breaking their embrace and enclosing me with one and kissing my cheek. Kat starts laughing. Alex shoots her a look and she stops.
"How bout we just skip school today" Jay recommends. we all nod in agreement. We get in our cars. I text Jessie before leaving 'hey, a family emergency came up I won't be at school for the rest of the day'. We leave the parking lot. When we stop my phone vibrates. It's Jessie 'okay :D'. My phone vibrates again. This time it's Zach ';('.
'Sorry it's an emergency' (me)
'I now I just needed to talk to you' (Zach)
'Why can't you just say it to me right now' (me)
'Because it would be better in person. Gtg class' (Zach)
We get to Jay's house. Which is huge. We walk inside. Alex still looks like he's crying. I wrap my arms around his neck and jump on his back. I kiss his cheek. He laughs almost falling.
"So Jay what are we going to do" I ask. The guardians give each other a concerned look.
"What" me and Jay say at the same time. They continue look ing at each other in silence.
"We have tell them sooner or later" says Apollo. They all nod and we walk to the living room. Instead of Alex setting me down he sits on the couch on top of me. I push him on to the floor.
"Now someone start explaining" I say impatiently. They look at one another.
"Okay so there's this prophecy that two years from now there will be a war between Heaven and Hell" Mars starts off. He looks at Apollo and takes his hand kissing him.
"During that war it will rip earth apart killing humanity as it's known, but there are four who can save the world" adds Alex as he sits next to me and grabs my hand.
"You two belong to the group of four humans who can save the world. You are call the divinities." Adds Kat.
"So far Heaven has one of the four and same with Hell. You two are the only ones left. You two need to figure out your divinities first otherwise know as wether you go to Heaven or Hell" finishes Apollo.
"So the fate of the world..." I start.
"...Lies in our hands" Jay finishes.
