Chapter 12

MATTHEWS POV

"HEY JAY" I scream as I run to jump onto him. His shaggy black hair glistening in the burning light of the sun. His grey eyes filled with joy. I knew that if Alex was watching he'd be extremely jealous.

"Hey you guys" he says catching me. He's staring off at something as if something or someone was there. I follow his daze to see two men floating in the sky holding hands and watching Jay.

"Who are they" I whisper in his ear. He gives me a concerned look.

" Hey you guys we will catch up later I need to talk to Jay" I announce. They nod and walk off.

"So can you see them Matthew" he ask. I give a confused look indicating that I had completely forgotten what I need to talk to him about.

"What" I questioned in confusion. He points at the two men in the sky.

"Them" he replies. I'm guessing that they are his guardians but why where they holding hands. Angels and demons hated one another.

"Yeah I can see them I can see mine to." I say answering his question finally. "But why are they holding hands?"

"Apollo. Mars. Come here" he yells at them. they come closer and greet me.

"Alex. Kat I know you two are watching me." I say loudly knowing they were there.

"I told you he would know we were here" Kat yells at Alex. They walk over to us. Alex gets a look of fear when seeing Jay. Jay's eyes go from being filled with joy to pure heartbreak. They embrace one another both starting to sob deeply.

"Do you two know each other" ask Jay's angle who's name I suspect to be Apollo. Jay pulls away from Alex and nods.

"This is the boy that dated my cousin before he was paralyzed" he sobs. I look at both of them in shock.
