MATTHEW POV

"Listen mat you don't have to do that for us. We are okay with what we have especially me" he says with a wide smile. I chuckle.

"I know it's just you both have done so much for me other that just protecting me which is all you guys had to ever do" I say.

"Honey I would do anything for you whether it be in my job description or not. You are my husband and I would take a bullet for you" he says kissing me.

"I know but-" I say he pinches my lips.

"No buts. Come home in half an hour okay" he demands. I nod. He kisses my forehead.

I walk over to the dummy to get the blade. Half way I faint. I hear myself hit the ground with a thud. The room goes black.

ALEX POV

I hear a thud and I whip around to see Matthew on the ground. He must have collapsed from over exhaustion. I run over to him. I kiss him. He coughs and gasps for air.

"Okay time to come home" I say picking up his sweaty body. He nods and puts his head against my chest.

He's heavier than he used to be. He's gain more muscle and along with that weight. I look down at him. He no long looks like the little skinny high school junior that I first met him as. He is now a warrior in the battle of Heaven and Hell. He's much more masculine. He's no longer the boy that hid behind every one else. He's now the man who stands before all.

He's now Matthew Patterson husband, warrior, soon to be father, and divinity male of Heaven.
