Chapter 10

"Nice to meet you" I say with a smile shaking Kat's hand. Alex steps between us.
"Don't trust her Matthew. She's a demon scum bag." he spits at her.
"Alex" I say smacking him.
"I don't blame him he's and angel and I'm a demon. and we are both your guardians." she sighs.
"See Alex she won't hurt me" I say.
"Matthew do not trust her" he explains to me as I I'm retarted.
"Alex let me make my own life lessons" I say kissing him lightly. I thought I saw Kat grin but was reassured when I looked at her again and she was smiling with cheeriness. Kat looked like the kind of person you could trust. Minus the demon part.
She had beautiful dirty blonde hair and a cheery smile.
Her phone rings. She looks at it.
"I have to go that was master" she sighs. I wave and smile.
"Good bye" Alex says bluntly.
"Why are you so mean to her" I ask him.
"Because she's a demon you can't trust her" he explains getting frustrated.
"Do you know how cute you are when you mad" I ask kissing him deeply.

KAT'S POV

"Master are you in here" I ask knocking on the door.
"Yes come in Kathrine" he says motioning me towards him.
"It's Kat" I say bluntly. he scolds me for correcting him.
"You know the mortal you're guarding" he questions.
"Yes what about him" I answer.
"I need you to get him away from the angel and on to our side" he orders.
"Why" I question him.
"Because he's a special mortal he can see you and that angel. He can win the war for us" he explains.
"War" I ask.
"Yes. You see in about two years according to prophecy a war will break out between Heaven and Hell which will destroy all of earth and only four mortals will be able to help win those wars and save earth" he explains.
"But separating Matthew and Alex will be tough. They love each other." I say "and what about those other three?"
"We already have one her name is Jade. Her demon Zane persuaded her with sex" he explains. " Then Heaven already has one. Penelope, her demon was a weak female."
"That leaves one more somewhere on earth" I say.
"Yes in fact we have eyes on him right now" he explains." his name is Jay."
