With the start of the term underway, it was time for Amara's first flying lesson. Amara was pretty gifted with flying, as she was successful at all of the flying commands given to her from Madam Hooch.
"Ten points to Slytherin for excellent execution." Madam Hooch smiled at Amara proudly, making Draco scoff in annoyance. Of course it would be Amara that did better, he thought.
Amara resorted to herself during the class, focusing on basic commands and listening to Madam Hooch lecture. Draco, however, kept his attention towards Neville Longbottom, who seemed to be confused and also twenty feet in the air.
As Madam Hooch calmed the situation, Draco spotted Neville's remembrall in the grass. Amara could see how this was going to go.
"Draco, don't do that. That's Longbottom's remembrall." Amara stood with her arms crossed, looking Draco in the eye.
"Shut up, Amara. I know what I'm doing." Draco spoke low enough for only her to hear. This only made Amara want to be louder.
"Oh, really? That's hysterical considering it took you a few tries to pick up your broom." Amara retorted, making Draco scrunch up his face in both annoyance and anger. Amara only smiled, looking over at Harry who let out a laugh. Amara grinned even more, knowing she had made Harry Potter laugh.
Draco then took the remembrall and flew several feet in the air, "What's the matter, Potter? Bit beyond your reach?" He spat. Amara rolled her eyes, not this again.
"Give it here, Malfoy, or I'll knock you off your broom." Harry spoke, holding his broom tightly in his hand. Amara's attention was split between her brother and Harry. Deep down, Amara wished that Harry would shove him off his broom. Maybe that would teach him a lesson.
"Is that so? Have it your way then." Draco laugh, speeding off on his broom. Harry immediately followed.
Amara slapped her hand on her face and shook her head, "What a dumbass."
"Which one were you referring to?" The Gryffindor girl looked at her with a very accusatory look on her face, thinking she was talking about Harry Potter.
"My brother." Amara spoke, before grabbing her things and heading to her common room, leaving behind a shocked Hermione Granger.
