51 | Save Myself

I'm sorry it's been so long since I've updated. Life has gotten in my way lately. Here's an update.

I begin to plummet back down when a huge shockwave travels from above. My first thought was All Might must be here. My second thought was my back feels broken. Midoriya had been the cause of the shockwave.

"Shiki?" A flustered voice said. Ochaco Uraraka crosses my line of vision, she looks angry to see me.

"Just the person I need." I groan as I sit up. Midoriya, Eri, and Overhaul had obviously exited through the hole in the ceiling when that blast occurred. I'm not excited about it, but I have to follow them for some reason. That near-dead-guy, Nighteye said so.

"Help me get up there," I point to the blue sky visible through the large makeshift skylight.

"No way I'm helping you! You're the bad guy!" Ochaco said defensively. It looks like she's ready to use some serious karate moves on me. I cringe.

"You all will be fine... help Shiki... to the surface..." Nighteye spoke up. That guy's not dead yet?

"At the very least... right now... he isn't... planning on targeting us... he's... going to peruse Midoriya... and Eri... and..."

"No!" Ochaco didn't give Nighteye the chance to finish explaining. She dashed about three feet before her body gave out and she crash-landed. "Why won't my body move!" She moaned.

"You think I'd go quietly after hearing that?" the dragon Pro hero argued. She's a dragon. If she wanted to she could go up there and fight. The fact that she's not making a move to flap her giant ass wings tells me that her body is as tired as Ochaco's.

"In your current condition... Even if you were to go after him... You cannot win..." He spoke to Ochaco, the dragon, and Tusu, whom I just realized is here too. She's quiet.

"So we're supposed to sit around and do nothing? That ain't right!" Ochaco yelled and even floated some small stones to show she can still fight.

"Through that hole in the wall, and down the path... Mirio should be there... Please, Froppy." Nighteye asked for Tusu to go after Lemillion. Froppy left to fulfill the request given to her by the Pro hero.

"Uravity, Please... help Shiki to the surface."

With a little boost from the dragon and my ex-classmates antigravity quirk, I was flung upwards. I immediately regret asking them for help. How many times will I be tossed around like a doll today?

I came down on my hands and knees earning scrapes. The physical trauma my body endures just keeps reminding me how quirkless I am. Why does Nighteye believe I can save them? Doesn't he know I'm useless without my power?

A shadow darkens the sky. I twitch from alarms going off in my body all at once. If I thought Overhaul was a monster earlier then now he is a demon!

"Suzuki run!" Midoriya's voice calls out to me. I book it down the street to Midoriya and away from Overhaul. My heart speeds up to the point it hurts.

Yakuza's hideout is right in the middle of suburban area? They were hiding in plain sight all this time. I'm angry about how long I had to wait to be rescued. Did the heroes even come for me though?

I think they came to save Eri. Why not me? I was once their classmate and friend. No I'm lying to myself. I'm getting fiction mixed up with reality again.

Looking up I see something that can only be described as a monster. Overhaul had created this...thing that resembles the bottom half a skeleton and the upper half of a bird masked humanoid. What makes it so terrifying is that it has ten arms resembling a spider.
