The Creature is a live music bar in the darkest part of the city. It's run by villains, and only villains are allowed in.
I arrived early for the night's concert, so far there weren't many people here. The building itself is four stories tall plus a basement and only a handful of people could be seen in the central, busiest, room.
I make my way down the steep stairs to the basement to wait for the concert to begin. I gave the small fee to the man standing by the door. In return, he stamps a black X on my hand.
The basement is surprisingly large. I make my way to the bar. The feeling of the darkroom and light of the quiet stage made me feel excited.
To my right, there's a camera and music tech set up on a table. To my left, the stage is being set up by two crew members.
I waited there while more people streamed in. Once I finished my drink I got curious about what was upstairs.
Walking up the stairs I absentmindedly took a eucalyptus bonbon out of my pocket. The overwhelming minty taste satisfied me.
When I was finished I decided I still wanted to wander around the building. Down a hallway, I came upon a large room with a drum set and guitar on a small stage. There was a bar in this room as well.
Walking around some people in conversation, I exit through another door. This took me to a set of stairs going up and down.
I chose up since I knew where down would take me.
Up the stairs, I was met with another hallway, this one full of doors. That wasn't interesting to me and there was nowhere to go, so I kept walking up the stairs. Two more flights up and I come across an open lounge.
I pulled back the ornate silky red and black curtain and entered the room.
Chairs and a comfy looking couches greeted my sight, along with a table set full of coffee and tea. I didn't expect a lounge-like this to be set apart from the downstairs and sort of hidden.
Cautiously I walked around the room inspecting interesting things I find. My eyes are almost immediately drawn to the bookshelf, though it's nothing too impressive. I notice most of the books are for the male gender. I find mystery novels and action zombie books. I also see comic books.
A comic with the large block letters spelling All Might catches my attention. Carefully I take it out and sit on a comfy couch.
The room is silent while I flip through. All Might is a big part of everyone's lives, villain or not. It seems he's always there to 'protect the people'.
A door that I hadn't noticed before opened violently. I was so shocked I jumped a little from the noise.
A tall male sauntered out from the doorway and to the coffee and tea table.
I don't think he noticed me...
I watched the guy make coffee with a fancy machine. He certainly looks interesting. His skin is like patchwork and his hair is black. He's wearing a long black jacket and black pants. When he moved the chains attached to his pants jingled.
The smell of coffee filled the room. The man brought the beverage to his mouth and made a "hm" of approval.
I gathered myself and stood up to return the comic to where it belonged. I was about to shelve it when there was a presence of someone close to me.
