Kaminari's constant complaining and sarcastic remarks got on my nerves as often as Monoma said something rude.

"I thought there was gonna be a campfire with s'mores. Where are the s'mores?" I whined to myself.

"Shut it. We're all upset here, not just you." Kaminari muttered.

His hatred towards me hardly phased my composure. Kaminari has been openly rude to me since I unknowingly hurt Kirishima's feelings. At least he hasn't gone any further than making rude comments.

So, what if a couple of my classmates dislike me? I'll be betraying them all soon enough. Then I'll be truly hated by not only them but the entire superhuman society. To every villain, I'll be an inspiration, a hero.

That's not what I want though...

"It's time to head outside. Leave your things on your desk and go to the training grounds. Suzuki, you stay behind." My teacher gave the orders and the class left me behind.

Screams and other sounds of combat training came from outside. Part of me is glad I'm not out there. The other part wonders why I'm being kept away from the other students.

with nothing to do but study in the classroom, I looked for other ways to entertain myself. Before getting too bored a knock sounded on the door.

Todoroki Shouto peaked in through the crack in the door. Spotting me alone his lips turned up into a smile. I greeted him with a what-the-heck-are-you-doing expression.

"Want to get out of here for a while?"

Shouto and I snuck through the campgrounds. The sun lingered high in the sky.

we walked until we came to the forest, then he grabbed my hand and guided me.

I followed about 30 paces through the forest. He stopped when we came to a small clearing.

"Close your eyes," Shouto said. I did as he said, and I heard him give a small chuckle. A harsh freezing cold gust emanated from Shouto. Like when he uses his quirk, his cold side started to freeze. I quickly let go of his jacket and moved to his other side.

With my eyes still closed I huddled closer. Heat greeted me kindly. Soon he was done with whatever he was doing.

"Okay, now you can open them."

What I saw was amazing. It's a large skating rink set in the middle of a forest.

Stopping to gaze at Shouto I memorized his face. A rare genuine smile lit up his soft expression. He only looked at me, not at his creation. He only has eyes for me.

At the same time, we both leaned in for a kiss. Unlike the passionate kisses, this one was tender and loving. His mouth is cold, it's refreshing. Goosebumps rose on my arms.

"My Mom used to do this for my siblings and I. She hasn't done it since—." Shouto cut himself off.

"Since when?" I pushed.

"Since my brother left." Shouto looked to our feet.

"Oh...I'm sorry Shouto." Dabi's perpetually angry face flashed through my mind.

"It was a long time ago. I'm over it now."

"What was your brother's name?" I couldn't help myself; I want to know more. Hearing Shouto's side of the story is intriguing.

His expression changed quickly. His face is now guarded and cautious.

Oops... I didn't mean to make him upset.
