I woke up to the sound of a cell phone. I hate waking up with loud noises! I normally wake up with the vibration of my cell phone, that's how much I hate noise in the morning.
Who would even call me at this hour?
Reluctantly, I pushed the sheets away from me and walked to my desk in the corner of the room, that was right next to my closet and opposite from the door that lead to a small bathroom. I picket up the god forsaken phone all looked at the screen. Unknown number. I stared at the phone wondering who could be... Nevertheless, I clicked the green button (yes my phone is a total brick) and putted the phone to my ear.
"Who is this and how did you get this number?" I said hastily
"Wow someone isn't getting laid!" A familiar voice responded.
"M-Matt?? I-Is that y-you?" I answered, my voice failing me.
"Well who else could it be? Your boyfriend?? Oh right, I forgot I was the pretty one in the family!" He said in a playful way, a way I have known ever since we were born.
"W-why are you calling me? We haven't talked in. .." He cutted before I could finish
"Too long little sister, too long" His sad tone made my heard ache.
I wasn't sure if I missed him or not but hearing his sad tone through the phone made me feel a little empty inside, but as he always said, emotions won't get you anywhere, so there was no point in having them. Of course by emotions he meant my emotions for any guy that passed because I obviously shouldn't want to have anything to with them. And of course I also shouldn't make any decisions out of my own head unless it was to save his ass.
"What do want?" I said in an emotionless tone
"Gee Ape I'm definitely feeling the love." I cletch my jaw at his old nickname for me.
"We haven't talked in what? 10 years? Suddenly you call me out of the blue? What. Do. You. Want?" I said rudely, but didn't miss the slightly hurt tone in his voice
:Well I just heard my little sis was coming back to school and I just had to ask: Why? Wasn't your live exciting enough"
"On the contrary my dear brother, my life had plenty of excitement, thats why I decided to settle down and live the rest of my life in peace."
'Is that so? Well have you done your homework about the pack who lives there? Because that pack is dangerous, and has a long record of killing rouges, which is what you will be, baby sis."
"I'll be fine Matt it's not like I can't take care of myself, I've been doing fine haven't I? If they try anything I'll just kill them. I just want a normal life, I'll tell them that I'm sure they'll believe me."
"Whatever you say sis. I'm actually doing some business in Europe but when I'm done I'll go see ya."
"No. If you come than I won't have my peace. I know you brother, wherever you go, trouble follows and I don't want you here." I said firmly, but knowing my words wouldn'thave the slightest effect on him.
"I'll see you in a few weeks! Bye Ape! Love you!"
"What? No! Don't come here you dick!"
"Byeeeee!" My brother said mockingly
"No don't you dare hang up on me you little..." I didn't finish my insult out loud because I heard the sound of the call being disconnected.
Mumbling some colourful words I walked into the bathroom, some it was almost 8 o'clock.
'Great, I'm going to be late on my first day, fantastic!' I thought while getting in the shower.
After taking a hot bath, I got dressed in a pair of jeans and a tshirt. I never had the habit of taking breakfast so after brushing my teeth and doing my business in the bathroom I grabbed my bag, cell phone, wallet and keys and started walking to school.
