(A/N: Hello there gorgeous! Here's Cody for you if you didn't already know. And here's a big ass chapter for you, hope you see like it! :)

Hey guys I have a question for you!!

Until now, who's your favourite carecter in my little book?

Answer bellow please!)

Recap:

"I don't mean to interrupt, but I think we have a visitor..." Derek said hesitantly, moving to the side, revealing a man that I had not yet had the pleasure to meet.

He was taller then I expected, although he didn't reached 6tf he had a suprisingly threatning figure, with broad shoulders and a perfectly sculpted jawline, with the same exact eyes and his daughter.

I froze for a second, taking in this unfamiliar person in front of me, him doing the exact same thing to me. I was pulled out of my trance he opened his mouth and said in a dangerous voice.

"Where's my daughter, April?"

'Crap.'

That was my first thought when he asked that question. I opened my mouth to speak but I was having trouble finding the words to tell him that his baby girl had just found the one who's destined for her, who also happens to be a 200 year old serial killer.

I definitely did not wanted to be the one to break the news to him. I was waaaaay to pretty for that.

"Uncle....Hi. Ummm... How are you doing?" I asked awkwardly, keeping my gaze locked with his.

He was wearing a simple black Tshirt that he probably used to sleep since it was the middle of the night, as well as a pair of sweatpants that he had probably put on in a hurry. I felt bad for him, he had dark bags under his eyes and a tired and concerned expression. He had probably stayed up waiting for his daughter to come home. Poor Dad.

"Look April, I really wish we had met under different circumstances, but we haven't and right now I just really need to find my daughter so please just tell where she is." He said not moving an inch, remaining in a tense position near my door.

'Ok, he's giving me honest talk, no bullshit. I guess I should return the favour.' I though nervously, taking a deep breath.

I moved towards him, walking past him and motioning him to follow me which he complied. I guided him to the living room where I sat on the couch, and he sat on the couch in front of mine, separated by a small coffee table filled with pizza boxes that my oh so polite guests and friends had already eaten while I was talking to my angry mate on the back yard.

"Are you aware of the existence of 'mates'? As well as the effects it has on the couple once they find each other and after that?" I said seriously, getting right down to business.

He raised his eyebrow, obviously not liking the topic. He seemed to be having a mental conversation with himself about what could have happened to Caroline that was related to the topic of mates, one that was most likely leading to a not so happy ending from his point of view, the one of a parent looking out for his only baby girl.

"Yes." He said through gritted teeth, curling his hand into a fist, making me gulp.

'Oh shit, oh shit.'

"Umm.. welll... you see... Caroline... she actually found her mate... and-"

"She found her mate? Do you know how rare it is? For a human to be mated to a supernatural creature? Is he even a wolf? Are you sure they are mates?"
